I Love New York: Fake Sex Tape
| I Love New York, I Love New York 2, Media Take Out, New York, Whiteboy | 48 comments »
Media Take Out is claiming Tiffany 'New York' Pollard was taped having sex & then provided a link to the alleged sexcapade. UNPROFESSIONAL! The Q. & Jayne both watched the clip. We assure you it is neither New York of 'I Love New York 2' nor Whiteboy a.k.a. Joshua Gallander. In MTO's defense they never said it was Whiteboy. However, those who wanted to ruffle my feathers mentioned him several times. The MTO reader who sent the the link informed them the video was taken a few months ago. A few to me is 3, if that is the accurate date of the taping of the video it is NOT New York in my opinion. TishiePoo commented & informed me I was wrong for calling MTO liars. I was wrong for not going to check out MTO for their actual story. If I think they lie on occasion or get their facts twisted that's my opinion. This post before I edited it was an untruth. I typed a lie. It was not my intentions but I did none the less. If it can happen to me I imagine it happens to MTO too. I stand by my earlier opinion based on it being taped a few months ago. I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT IS NEW YORK IN THE VIDEO!!! Thanks for your comment TishiePoo. You made me go and look at MTOs actual post. Come on folks, MTO can be more proper than that! *shaking my head

I've never been a fan of Tango a.k.a. The Tan Man. I believe Steups and a lot of The Blogspot readers have mad love for The Tan. One of the reasons I don't care for him goes beyond his appearance on 'I Love New York'. There was an incident that happened that someone w/ access to one of his 'REAL' MySpace accounts gave false information. I have a problem with persons who don't take responsibility for their actions or those in their camp. In addition, I have listened to or read most of his interviews. The story changes from interview to interview. The contradictions are countless. The Q. is far from perfect. Besides being old, ugly and bitter... I am unprofessional. I make many mistakes everyday. The one thing I don't do is give the reader an illusion of who I am. I am an average woman with a hot temper, saggy breasts, stretch marks and foul mouth. If you interviewed me in March 2007 and asked if I was in love with Whiteboy. My answer would've been, "No. I have love for Whiteboy. I am in lust with him." Fast forward to today, "I'll always have mad love for Whiteboy. He has crazy swagger and still sexy as all hell."
My point is I understand feelings change. However how does someone stomp up and down in millions of homes claiming he's there for New York. How does one tell a woman he loves her & proposes to her with the cameras rolling, then a few months later on national television he puts on a minstrel show of his own by sitting next to her acting lovely dovey. Minutes later, telling her he loves Tiffany but he got New York. WTF?! Didn't 'The Tan' watch 'Flavor of Love' seasons 1 & 2? Come on, Tango knew d@mn well who and what he was signing up for; NEW YORK. Now to make it worse, again with the cameras rolling Tango talks about sleeping with one eye open to protect himself from the woman he claimed to love. Is that what a 'Stand Up' type of man does? Did Tango keep one eye opened on Heather Hunter too? In closing, this is the sole opinion of The Q. and not a representation of how most of The Blogspot reader's feel. In all fairness, I think it's important to read Tango's own words on his 'I Love New York' experience.
THE STAND written by Tango – distributed on Myspace on Thursday, September 27 – posted as a blog on Saturday, September 29. Tango only posted the comments of those who agreed with him.
I hear that many of you are concerned about the portrayal of African Americans on TV and Film. "The idiocy", "The Modern day MINSTREL show", "A mockery of 400 years of progress". Some say Intelligence in Black programming (More so Reality TV) is nonexistent.
Plain and simple... If you don't stand for something...then surely you will fall for everything. If you don't like what your seeing, Don't Turn off the Television.... Pick up the phone, send out an email... Do whatever you wish, But Don't take what they are giving you.
Bottom line is, Black Men can be Entertaining, Dramatic and Comedic on TV without Acting like Fools or without being portrayed as unintelligent gangsters. On that same note, The Black Female can be "Sexy and attractive without being Disrespected, degraded and portrayed as whores ( Hoes). Look, at no point do I expect this to change the minds of the people that will watch these shows. As a matter of fact this programming appeals to some people and I'm fine with that. What I am not fine with is that there is a "One sided view" presented on these shows. Not to mention the growing trend of the same type of show that is "Obviously" directed at a certain "Class or demographic of people".
The hypocrite: "The nerve of this dude" some will surely say. I had a choice, regardless of the opinions of many I've always made myself clear about why I appeared on the show I was on, I also made it clear that I believe I set a standard on reality TV that has never been done before.
Real, Fake or scripted.... at no point did I compromise My Dignity, My Self respect or My integrity to be on that program. I was far from perfect and had my moments, But I believe I gave reality TV viewers something they've never seen before. More importantly, I believe I gave the "Minority viewer" someone they could both respect and relate to.
I'm sorry, but I felt the only way to change things were from the inside out. It was Hell, but it was a small sacrifice to be made in order to give "Us" a voice... A voice doesn't mind saying Hell No.
They want to see Tan with his own show.... Well Tan won't be anything less than "The exception" , "The Difference" because "My people" Deserve more. At the same time... "My people" Have to want The exception... They have to Want the Difference. The Tango's, The Onix's, The Mo'Nique's & The DR. Ian Smith's are out there, So support them.
They don't pay your Cable bill ....Yet we let them control what we see..? Your Either going to be Gepeto or Pinocchio. Cut the puppeteer's Strings....And get real.
Yeah, another Blog/ Bulletin Rant by Yours Truly....
-Tan...."The stand up Guy".
Food for thought; maybe New York fell in love with Tango but got Patrick Hunter. Good luck and much prosperity to New York, reality love isn't an easy journey. 'I Love New York 2' premieres Monday, October 8th @ 9pm. Don't miss it! It is a funny episode.

VH1 is the place I call Home Sweet Home for my reality television. MTV and The CW are my tied runner ups. I can't miss an episode of America's Next Top Model Cycle 9. Unless Lisa sexually harrasses Miss J., I can't imagine anyone taking home the title other than her. Oh and then my huge secret is that I am addicted to 'The Hills'.
Totally off subject:
If your four year old son is arguing over his sister's dress screaming, "I want to be the princess!" ... is that a sign? Lawd mother have mercy... SOMEBODY SHOOT ME... I've given birth to a mini $$$Irresistible Deliscious$$$.

Not criticizing Fox Reality or nothing, but how the h@ll weren't 'Flavor of Love 2', 'I Love New York' or 'Charm School' nominated for America’s Favorite Reality Show?!!! Oh we were suppose to vote did you say? Oh my, Mr. New York kept sending out bulletins to Vote 4 New York! I thought she was running for Vice President alongside Obama or something. *sighs I should read more bulletins. When we don't vote people, this is what happens!
The reality star-studded original event airs exclusively on Fox Reality Channel on Saturday, October 13 at 10PM. The highly anticipated Fox Reality Channel original series “The Search for the Next Elvira” will premiere immediately following the awards. WTF?! A fox reality Qmoment!
Everyday I look up to the clouds. I think, 'I miss the men of 'I Love New York'. I miss Whiteboy and all his swagger. I miss Onix with his fine @ss self. (Onix, I am currently upset with you by the way. You are a tease.) I am missing Heat. You people just don't understand. Jason's body is non stop hotness. *thinks about taking a cold shower
The Q. is digging deep to discover who was cast in 'I Love New York 2'. Chris D. from VH-1 has been good to me. So, I am going to keep my mouth shut on the things I know for now. I can be a good girl when a man treats me accordingly.
Anyhow I came across this lovely picture of Heat with two 'Rock of Love' beezys Lacey (PETA maniac) and Brandi C. (allegedly retired porn star). I believe they were on the red carpet of a XL magazine event. *thinking Heat better have not given any of my 'Butta Kisses' away. If so, I am telling YA-YA. You think Diva Maria would approve me to be the mother of her firstborn grandchild? *dials Diva Maria to find out.

Shawn Quote Corner: Sister Patterson
| I Love New York, Sister Patterson, Tiffany Pollard interview | 192 comments »
Ok it Saturday and just coming back from skating which I fell so many times it's not funny anymore. So I get this call from a buddy of mine and she tells me the latest gossip of Sister Patterson and how she finally speaking up on the type of man she is looking for. At first I laugh, then I got upset. Yes, I am a feminist and truly believe a female need to have her own for just in case he wants to be stupid. Now since I receive this gossip all I had been thinking: Is Sister Peterson riding the coattail of her daughter success?
Now Folk this is a Quote I found very interesting:
"I am not a married woman, and that's all I'd like to say about my dating status right now. My man first and foremost has to love me -- and my children -- totally. And he has to be super-filthy, freakin' rich!"
Wow. Ok hold the presses folks. Why do she feel like a man that want to date her has to be super filthy-freaking rich. Is this a new niche or trend that noone told me about? What ever happen to I'm single, independent, he has to love me and my kids, be loyal and respectful. Now I know love don't paid the bills but some people let status get in the way. Not that long ago I came across some gossip that her daugter, Tiffany Pollard, was looking for the same type of guy. A guy that is super filthy-freaking rich that will love her and that for her kids to respect and love her also that way she don't ever have to work again. Note to self:Why didn't you keep T-Weed around? He claim to be worth a million buck. Oh that's right her mom only did a credit report without looking at a bank statement or something from the IRS or would this Rich Filty-Freaking guy be one of the contestant and maybe hook her moms up with his filty-freaky rich friends?
Did I miss the train of looking for a rich guy?
Whatever happen to accepting a guy for who is and what is? Whatever happen to if I bring to the table 100% then he need to come to the table with 120%? Now I know there are alot of people that don't want to deal with a broke person.
But shouldn't we also give them a chance?
I truly think Sister Patterson need a reality check.
So folks come on in the comment box and voice your opinions on this one and let me know how you value a relationship.
Rich man or Broke man? Which one is for you?

The St. Petersburg Times focused on Tampa Bay resident, Tango; in a recent article.
Tango, real name Patrick Hunter, speaks on his new celebrity and how difficult it is for him to purchase Kentucky Fried Chicken..."I can't even go to Kentucky Fried Chicken . . . when I walked in there, people behind the register dropped the chicken. Wherever I go, I have to sign autographs and take pictures with people before I can even eat."
The Tan-man believes 'I Love New York' is more than a dating show..."This was not a dating show to me - there was no Chuck Woolery hanging around - this was freaking Survivor, I think a vast majority of the guys on the show are there for career enhancement . . . but I didn't see how this show was going to help my street 'cred'. I just think Flav slipped up . . . and I go after the most challenging females out there."
Read the article here.
Maybe the Whiteboy fans prefer to not read the article (I'm not sure they can read anyway). Here are pictures of Whiteboy and Chance to appease you:

Chance looks alright, Whiteboy needs to quit.
Finally, Flavor Flav, (recently acknowledged as one of the producers of I Love New York) is in Trinidad and Tobago enjoying Carnival. The annual festival ended today but here is a picture (thanks E) from a recent appearance

There is no Episode 5 of I Love New York today. I told VH1 not to air it because I can't do recaps for three consecutive weeks. I just can't.
Look for it next week when my mind is rested.
The respite however, has not stopped The New York Times from discussing the show; again.
This time they revert to the norm and reiterate how harmful are shows like Flavor of Love and I love New York.
Apparently these shows reinforce negative stereotypes of African-Americans, and particularly, African-American women (yawn)
You may need to be a registered member to access the New York Times article...but I am sure you wouldn't want to do that; so here are excerpts that may interest you
Brian Garden (President of Entertainment MTV) on 'Flavor of Love'"That show just did it for us. What it did was convince the channel’s management that it could build a new identity on a simple formula: Take a pop cultural idol from the past 20 years or so... and place him or her in some reality television context."
The executive also explained that they decided to add another celeb-reality night on Monday because they were so confident that 'I Love New York' would be a success (now you know why it's not on Sunday)
Garden on Tiffany 'New York' Pollard
"She was not previously a celebrity (said with a smile) We made her a celebrity."
Of course the article gave equal time to the
"For many black audiences 'Flavor of Love' is too much of a reminder of the racist and stereotypical depictions that blacks were forced to endure on television and in film for much of the 20th century."
(this is what happens with too much education)
Interestingly, the article spoke of an African-American woman named Theresa Tracy who has
"I want black women to see this kind of thing for what it is: an attack on our image."
We learn why Monique has a show
'...the actress best known for shows like "Moesha" and "The Parkers," let staffers know that she hated the "Flavor of Love" contestants' undignified behavior, the network responded by giving her her own show, called "Charm School."
(if I didn't hate the show before I absolutely hate it now)
And finally, the New York Times article descends into plugging every show aired and to be aired on VH1. The shows you will soon
1) Bridging the Gap - a match between a current music star and a past singing idol: the first pairs Eve with Queen Latifah
2) Band of Men - former members of boy bands come together to
3) The Springer Hustle - a behind-the-scenes look at the Jerry Springer Show
(don't they do that already when they run backstage?)
4) Dice Undisputed - featuring the leather-clad comic Andrew Dice Clay and a crew of hanger-ons.
(I would rather be violated with hangers than watch that nonsense)
And they don't end there. There will be shows featuring Irv Gotti, Jack Black and Scott Baio.
Scott Baio? Who da heck is that?
Off to Google....(puff of smoke)

I love New York roundup
| Contestant interviews, I Love New York, Rico comments on gays | 130 comments »"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American presidential candidate who is articulate and bright and clean-cut and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man."
Those are the words of Senator Joseph Biden, D-Del., describing fellow Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama, D-Ill. Doesn't seem like much to me, but the media seems to think it plays into a stereotype.
People see what they want to see...
Take this guy for example, who posted this comment on the V-Spot'S I Love New York message-board..
Rico: The Homophobe
I recently sent a message to Rico's MySpace page. As a gay man, I was very
careful not to be too flirty and even acknowledged the fact that men probably
hit on him all the time but I was more or less sending him a message telling him
how sincere and cool he was on the show.
I was very sincere in telling him how much I enjoyed him on the show, a
response would be awesome, and that he had a fairly large gay fan-base as well.
Oh I got a response alright...
Rico stated (and I quote) "I respect gay plp what can i do u like guys
i like p*ssy..but just keep it respectfull ok.."
WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN?
I thought this was the rudest response he could have ever given! This does
NOT sound like the same guy that comes off as being sincere and cool on
camera--he plays to me like a rude *sshole that doesn't know how to spell
properly and respectfully address an individual.
And have u seen HIS MySpace page? Are u SURE u like chicks , Rico?
Didn't see a whole lot of women in the photos with u...mostly a bunch of
overtly and seemingly gay fellas who look like they may be "diggin'" eachother
rather than any hot chicas that he claims he's solely into.
I may like guys and not "p*ssy", but at least I'm not squishin' my junk
into chick's panties and tossin' it up onto MySpace...u look like u should be in
a Chi Chi LaRue movie (maybe u have been...would not be a surprise).
Rico, u just need to learn how to graciously accept a compliment or two and
think before u post such a sh*tty response to people that at one point
considered themselves a fan. U showed just how ugly a beautiful person can be,
and now I can't wait for New York to dump his sorry ass...
I don't want to judge and I would have responded differently (as my large homosexual fan-bas will testify, lmao) but what's the big deal?
But, I suppose I am being a hypocrite because I certainly didn't react well to this excerpt from Quanda's interview with Mr. Boston
So what was in like kissing New York?
Ah...*laughs Quanda you know how it looked awkward on television? Well it
was ah like even more awkward in person. It was my first time making out with a
black chick. She has huge lips and mouth. Ah...so when I was kissing her it felt
like my lips were in her mouth. It was really weird.
Maybe we all need to chill out and not be so quick to jump to conclusions. It's not like Mr. Boston is a racist who hangs out with women who spit in the faces of Black women

Shoutouts: Dorfam and Shawn and TelevisionWithoutPity
The P-Spot has an interview with Mr. Boston
Vh1, as expected, premiered 'I Love New York' today.
Most accounts are favorable but I can't verify or deny because my DSL is shit. I can barely see a You Tube video with this arthritic internet connection.
For those who are worse off or no better, Irresistable provided us with the nicknames New York chose. Here is his account with his usual dash and perspicacious wisdom.
(taken from the comments)
The guys' nicknames are:
Ace - the tennis player
Chance - sexy thug
T`Bone - a fat ass
Mr. Boston - Pasty white boy
Real - sexy dude, him and Chance are brothers
12-Pack - buff white boy
Whiteboy - ghetto white boy
Pootie - cute teddy bear type
Heat - Latin hottie
Rico - also a latin hottie
T-Money - plain white boy
Trendz - rapping african
Token - the snitch
Romance - feminine dog lover
Tango - sexy playa type
Wood - the guy whose penis we've seen today! (how ironic)
Jersey - Italian beefcake
Onyx - sexy track star
T.Weed - greasy black dude
Bones - skinny religious cutie
What are the chances of 'New York' choosing Jersey as the winner? How about, ZERO!
It's a rite of passage for one or more of the Flavor of Love contestants to have posed nude, somewhere or sometime in their past. And it's no different with the men of 'I Love New York'.
Our nude contestant is Randy Richwood and you'll soon see why he is aptly named.
To be honest I am not sure if he's a contestant or not, because my memory of these guys isn't as photographic as it is with the women of 'Flavor of Love'. But I know he was part of the casting process, so maybe one of you will set me right.
Here is a picture of Randy from the Casting Special. If you recall, he is the dude who made 'New York' blush.
That was then. With clothes on.
But my friend Jayson (of Black Man Web) linked me to pictures that may interest the women readers. Here's one of them; I cropped it as close as I could because I have a serious case of penis envy.
For more pictures of Randy Richwood you can visit The Gallery at Black Man Web. You'll need to register to see the photos or you can use my username and password (dracula - redblood)
So that's that. I'm off to lodge a missing persons report because I have neither seen nor heard from Groovy for ten days.
Laterz.
