Some of you care about this stuff -I know I do- so here's the latest...
I Love New York 2 Episode 7 grabbed 4.4 million viewers two Mondays ago. The giddy numbers placed it 1st among reality television shows for that week and 7th overall among all cable fare.
Yep, it's a hit.

I really hope VH-1 is paying her well, because the only shows beating her are wrestling, football and Disney's garbage.

New_York_and_Leslie_Grossman_of_Nip/TuckWell, there seems to be no sophomore jinx plaguing New York and I love New York 2 as the ratings continue to match or surpass the first season's.

NEW YORK, November 14, 2007 – The 9:00 PM* episode of "I Love New York 2" scored its second-highest rating of the season with a 2.1 P18-49 rating, up +12% from the Show's first five premieres. The episode attracted 2.3 million viewers in the 18-49 demo and 3.8 million total viewers and ranked #4 for night (11/12) among basic cable.

I Love New York Episode 4 pulled a massive 4 million viewers for the VH-1 Network; the third best viewership for a non-Premeire/Finale Episode of the hit television series.
The numbers placed the show fifth among all cable-programming for the week and second among non-sports cable broadcasts.
Congratulations to 'New York'.

Later tonight, or perhaps early tomorrow morning, look for my recap of Episode 6 of I Love New York. I'll try to get it done as quickly as possible.
Cheers.

It doesn't matter how long he stays away the public continues to support Flavor Flav.
The rap-legend cum reality television star proved anything with his name on is is rating's gold when his Comedy Central Roast pulled 3.8 million viewers to finish 11th among all cable television shows.

An astonishing number which puts to rest any doubt of the success of a third installment of the Flavor of Love series.
Dude is just funny...and I am tired.
Cheers.

cristal-serious-steversonLast week Sunday was a very good day for VH1 as its flagship shows Celebrity Fit Club 5 and Charm School had some of it's best ratings ever.

The bust-up with Dustin 'Screech' Diamond, Sgt. Harvey E Walden IV and the other celebrity guests propelled CFC 5's ratings to it's best ever since the new season began.
"The episode attracted 1.5 million total viewers. The 'CFC 5' 11:00 PM repeat earned a 1.2 rating in the key 18-49 demo and averaged 1.8 million total viewers."

Maybe it's the format or a large number of its audience studying for Finals, but Charm School's ratings are not what I expected.
After 5.1 million viewers for the Premiere, Charm School Episode 2 attracted a moderate 2.7 million viewers.
And word is Episode 3 grabbed 2.8 million viewers.

Anyway, just thought I'd mention that...here's a picture of Schatar Hottie Taylor for your trouble.

New York is in Plenty of M@thaf@#$ing Houses

tiffany-new-york-pollardQuanda talks a lot of trash. Geezus....I really do. But the bottom line is that I watch the show along with millions of others. And last Monday was no different, 4.1 million to be exact. 'I Love New York' Episode 7 had people tuning in extra.

3.4 million for Episode 6 to 4.1 million is a big jump to say the least. Steups and I are thinking a lot of exes were interested in this episode. Go figure!

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed 'I Love New York' Episode 7. I personally didn't want to see new-york-chance-tongue-kiss-jpegWhiteboy's ex so Melissa was a breath of fresh air as far as I am concerned. Big ups to the big sisters all around the world.

Now back to the sista some of us love and some of us love to hate on: New York. New York's show is pulling phenomenal numbers. Weave or not, Tiffany Pollard is a VH-1 success story.

Who would've thought besides 'The Original Mr. New York' that so many enjoyed watching New York? Duh ....I guess VH-1. All bad weave and boob jokes aside, the H.B.I.C. is a mega success. And I for one am not mad at her
( as long as Whiteboy doesn't win).

Congratulations to New York, Sister Patterson, Chamo and the remaining Fabulous Four ~Tango, Whiteboy, Real, and Chance!!! And hell 12 Pack too, you will be missed. We are loving (some hating) you all!

You have just shared a Qmoment!

I Love New York is a hit but it's not the juggernaut I expected.
The ratings for Episode 5 is in and the viewership remains steady at just over 3 million.

That's not bad, but there are many people who should be interested and are not, for whatever reason. Remember, the show was announced at the end of the Flavor of Love 2 Reunion Show which had an audience of 7 million.

And that led to a strong opening of 4 million + for the premiere of I Love New York; but it's been at 3 million ever since. Maybe the plan to add a second reality television night is the correct one, long term; but it appears to have hurt I Love New York's ratings.

Here are the ratings for the first five episodes.

Episode 1 - 4.4 million
Episode 2 - 3.2 million
Episode 3 - 3.5 million
Episode 4 - 3.6 million
Episode 5 - 3.3 million

I have nothing for Episode 6 but my understanding is its (Episode 6) audience rivals Episode 4.
Commenting on the ratings, a source told me "We are happy with the popularity of the show. It continues to bring in a large audience."

Well, if they are happy, I am happy.

new-york-tiffany-pictureNot much to talk about, but it's always good to have a new article, so let's talk ratings.
I love New York Episode 4 had 3.6 million viewers; a negligible increase from its Episode 3 numbers.

For the record (why do people say that?) here are the ratings for each episode of "I Love New York"

Episode 1 - 4.4 million
Episode 2 - 3.2 million
Episode 3 - 3.5 million
Episode 4 - 3.6 million

There are almost a million bastards who saw the Premiere of I Love New York and never returned.
Wtf is wrong with you people?

Anyways, I am off to have lunch. On the menu are Chips Ahoy! and Snapple 'What-a-Melon'; but of course you can't have them together because it ...(you don't care do you?)
Laterz.

Having debuted with record Nielsen numbers of 4.4 million viewers that made 'I Love New York' the highest rated premiere in VH1 history; there was an expected an understandable decrease in its second week.

The numbers for 'I Love New York Episode 2' was a somewhat disappointing 3.2 million viewers. Still enough to make it the highest rated show on VH1; but 25% fewer than it's debut numbers.
In simple terms 1 out of every 4 viewers who saw the premiere declined to watch the next episode.

There are reasons of course; many would have opted for the Golden Globes on NBC for example. But still, that's a huge drop.
There must have been some concern among the 'I Love New York' producers but I could have given them the answer for the fall-off...YouTube!
Those videos on 'YouTube' encourage people to watch the show; not the opposite. When they stifle faithful fans like Ponlork, they are only hurting themselves.

The third Episode's numbers, however, are much more positive reading.
My source, whom I really must thank; only minutes ago provided me with the numbers for the episode aired last evening.
I Love New York episode 3 scored 3,538,000 viewers; a 9% increase from the previous week.

Hopefully those numbers continue to rise because the show has been excellent; but they have got to turn a blind eye to the V-Spot and Podcast captures on YouTube. That's the only way the show can realize its full potential.

Keep refreshing your browsers, we just may have an interview from one of the favorites in an hour or two.
Laterz.

I don't know if Smiley and New York will return for a second season; indeed I do not know if there will be a second season of VH-1's reality television show 'Flavor of Love.'What I do know however is 'Flavor of Love' was a huge hit as far as cable-television goes and especially so in the coveted 18-34 demographic.
According to MediaLife Magazine, Flavor of Love was, and consistently so, the top rated reality television show for all of cable television.

The article dotes on that Ashley Parker Angel series on MTV but the information recognizing Flava Flav as a reality television star is there for all to see. Incidentally, the Ashley show, 'There and Back' isn't half-bad. The guy comes across as a really sincere kid with a really insincere nag for a wife, but that's another blog. Hopefully it works out for him and his yet to be released album is a smash hit.

Anyway, back to the rumor-mongering that says Flavor of Love will have a season 2. A reader posted a website in the comment box which looks as genuine as Pamela Anderson's breasts, but you never know. Go look for yourself and judge it to be authentic or not.

Just found the updated Nielsen ratings and Flav Flav is a Nielsen's goldmine. Flavor of Love was second only to the Sopranos with a 5.9 share. Even Zack and Cody were bested and I so totally watch that show. The mother is sexy.
