I Love New York 2 Episode 7 grabbed 4.4 million viewers two Mondays ago. The giddy numbers placed it 1st among reality television shows for that week and 7th overall among all cable fare.
Yep, it's a hit.
I really hope VH-1 is paying her well, because the only shows beating her are wrestling, football and Disney's garbage.

Well, there seems to be no sophomore jinx plaguing New York and I love New York 2 as the ratings continue to match or surpass the first season's.NEW YORK, November 14, 2007 – The 9:00 PM* episode of "I Love New York 2" scored its second-highest rating of the season with a 2.1 P18-49 rating, up +12% from the Show's first five premieres. The episode attracted 2.3 million viewers in the 18-49 demo and 3.8 million total viewers and ranked #4 for night (11/12) among basic cable.

Counting both seasons, the 'I Love New York' franchise has never dipped below 3.2 million viewers for a new episode.
Last season, the 3rd Episode of 'I Love New York' grabbed 3.5 million viewers.

NEW YORK, October 17, 2007 – This past Monday night was all about VH1 during the 9:00-11:00 PM period when the network successfully launched the two new series "The Salt-N-Pepa Show" and "Gotti’s Way" and debuted a new episode of "I Love New York 2."
The three shows propelled VH1 to the #1 spot among 18-49 viewers of cable networks offering non-sports programming that night.
The premiere of the second episode of "I Love New York 2" at 9:00PM scored a 1.7 in the key 18-49 demo and drew 3.2 million total viewers
The debut of "The Salt-N-Pepa Show" at 10:00 PM garnered a 1.3 in the 18-49 demo and delivered 2.2 million total viewers.


"The Salt-N-Pepa Show" is executive produced by Banks Tarver and Ken Druckerman for Left/Right Inc. Michael Hirschorn, Shelly Tatro and Danielle Gelfand executive produce for VH1. Kari McFarland is supervising producer for VH1.
"Gotti's Way" is a 51 Pictures show, created by and executive produced by Cris Abrego. Jeff Olde, Jill Holmes, Kristen Kelly and Michael Hirschorn executive produce the series for VH1.

"The Salt-N-Pepa Show" follows the two ladies who in 2002, at the height of their success, called it quits. Now, they've finally agreed to give it one more shot. But, Salt's still mad because she thinks she did all the work - and was never appreciated. Pep's still angry that Salt broke up the group - and that she did it by calling Pep in the middle of a pedicure! They have never before spoken to each other about why they broke up in the first place. And now their lives couldn't be more different. Salt is a devout Christian living a quiet married life while Pepa is still a party girl in love with the glory days. The premiere rating of "The Salt-N-Pepa Show" was +76% over the prior four-week average in the time period.The premiere of "Gotti’s Way" at 10:30 PM scored a 1.0 in the 18-49 demo and drew 1.6 million total viewers

"Gotti's Way" follows Irv Gotti's efforts to resurrect his record label after being acquitted of money laundering charges in 2004. While trying to breathe new life into his label, The Inc., Gotti is also juggling his responsibilities as a husband and father of three. The series will provide an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Irv's company and the music machine that he is, working with artists such as Vanessa Carlton, Lloyd, Ja Rule and more. The show will also focus on the raw emotions between Irv and estranged wife, Debbie, by exposing their struggle to mend a severed relationship and make it functional for the sake of their family. The premiere rating of "Gotti’s Way" was +65% over the prior four-week average in the time period.VH1's "I Love New York 2" is created and executive produced by Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego for Mindless Entertainment and 51 Pictures, who also produce the record-breaking hits "Flavor of Love," "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels," "The Surreal Life" and "My Fair Brady."
