I Love New York is a hit but it's not the juggernaut I expected.
The ratings for Episode 5 is in and the viewership remains steady at just over 3 million.

That's not bad, but there are many people who should be interested and are not, for whatever reason. Remember, the show was announced at the end of the Flavor of Love 2 Reunion Show which had an audience of 7 million.

And that led to a strong opening of 4 million + for the premiere of I Love New York; but it's been at 3 million ever since. Maybe the plan to add a second reality television night is the correct one, long term; but it appears to have hurt I Love New York's ratings.

Here are the ratings for the first five episodes.

Episode 1 - 4.4 million
Episode 2 - 3.2 million
Episode 3 - 3.5 million
Episode 4 - 3.6 million
Episode 5 - 3.3 million

I have nothing for Episode 6 but my understanding is its (Episode 6) audience rivals Episode 4.
Commenting on the ratings, a source told me "We are happy with the popularity of the show. It continues to bring in a large audience."

Well, if they are happy, I am happy.

it's consistent, but i bet you the finale is going to match the FOL2 finale...people gotta understand that for a show that comes on multiple times during the week, an average of 3.3 mill on a monday night is impressive
