Here at The Blogspot we attempt to cover many angles or perspectives. Whether we watch the shows to love or to criticize them, we are the catch of the day. Many of us are what makes VH1 & 51 Minds the big $$$. Of couse we can't take all the credit. Publicists are working hard to corral the various cast members (not always cooperative) & keep unaired episode information safe from people like me. *evilly laughs The production team casts the most interesting and/or attractive individuals they can find. They give us interesting dates, challenges & mansion mate beef to weekly feast our eyes upon for an hour. Let's not talk about editing. Can you imagine the good stuff that the fan will never see?

Fans of the 'Flavor of Love', 'I Love New York', 'Charm School' & 'Rock of Love' shows are what keeps these shows going. Solid or great ratings equal sponsors equal money equals VH1 is happy with 51 Minds equals more Chris Abrego & Mark Cronin shows equal more fans equal more sponsors equal more money which means more shows. It's a never ending cycle unless we decide to change the channel and/or read a book. As a blogspot reader, you've may be acquainted with some such fans Mr. New York, Irresistible Deliscious, Beebs, MaiTye, Revenge (Happy Birthday!!!), Lareigna, Here4Beer, TxShawty, BlackNuts, SpeakNTruth, Jeff, Aurelius, Theodius (add his brother's music MySpace page) , Shawn, Mysty, Sawyer, Gigi (spoiled),Baby kin, Dorfam, Sanyo, Hutche, Jane, Lady TY, Meale, Katsgoturtongue, Ponlork,Dominican Princess, Sexirican, Miesha, 3pm, Electra, Dana, Licious, Damien, and Steups (w/multiple personalties). *coughs Oh we can't forget about our #1 professional hater known as Bubo The Hater.

A true VH1 Celebreality fan you have most likely seen is Cheryl M!@#$. She is usually front and center for all the action at the reunion shows tapings. She's a slender cougar who admits an addiction to the 'Flavor of Love', 'I Love New York', 'Charm School' & 'Rock of Love' shows. When I am sitting @ home watching the reunions like the rest of you, I always see Cheryl. I had the pleasure of meeting Cheryl recently. I thought a VH1 fan who often has the best seat in the house during the taping of reunion shows is a voice The Blogspot couldn't pass up on.

How long have you been a fan of reality shows?
Ever since the first episode of 'Flavor of Love', I can't get enough.

*laughing Name your favorites from 'Flavor of Love' & 'Flavor of Love 2'.
Hoops was definitely my favorite from 'Flavor of Love' season 1. Besides being very pretty, she was athletic, cool and smart. She seemed to just be herself throughout the season. I liked her because I could identify with her in some ways. I thought she was a well rounded woman. 'Flavor of Love 2' I have to say I like Deelishis the best. Again she seemed like she was being true to herself. I genuinely felt she was there for an opportunity to click with Flavor Flav. Both women had confidence and weren't troublemakers. *she laughs I am going to have to add season 2 I started liking New York. She grew on me. I liked the fact she wasn't afraid to go after what she wanted. Whatever people think about her, she's a business woman. From 'Flavor of Love' she was brought back to 'Flavor of Love 2' and then given her own show 'I Love New York'.

What was it like being @ the 'I Love New York' Reunion taping?
You were there Quanda (with Groovy). It's exciting. I love being there. You get to interact with the production staff and cast members. You get to see the process first hand. You get to see how much work goes into producing a show like this. The reunion taping of course is just the tip of the ice berg. 51 Minds puts in a lot of hard work to bring us the shows we love. You get to meet cool people, that you would never meet. Being able to participate as an audience member is an overall fun experience.

You were at the Charm School Reunion too. Who were your favorite women of 'Charm School'?
Saaphyri definitely was my favorite. She doesn't pull any punches. Saaphyri is who she is. She doesn't come across as fake at all. I also like Becky. A lot of people give her slack for relaxing her 'proper' English and talking so called 'black'. I feel a lot of people carry themselves in a certain way when it's required. And people also let lose and relax when they are around friends. Don't you pick up slang and terms from those you hang out with Quanda?

I have no friends. If I did I'd most likely add some improper English to my arsenal of poor grammar. One can never be too ignorant. So did you watch 'Let's Do It Again'?
Yes, I did. I am really looking forward to this season of 'I Love New York 2'!

I am too. Let's back track for a second. Who were your favorite men of 'I Love New York' season 1?
Oh Quanda, I have to say Real. Real is sexy as h@ll. (Is this chick purring?) He's a short guy but it doesn't matter. He has an awesome personality. His hair is sexy too. Oh, and Wood is beautiful. I know he got eliminated the first episode. Wow Wood is all man. He was sexy at the reunion.

You will get no argument from me, back to 'I Love New York 2'. Care to share any other thoughts on episode 1?
I am glad The Entertainer made it into the house. I saw him on the 'I Love New York 2' casting site. I think he's sexy. He made the best videos. Another guy who caught my eye is definitely Midget Mac. He is extremely interesting. He's there for entertainment to create fun in the house. There seems to be some type casting this season. Buddha is the new Onix. 20 Pack is of course 12 Pack. Unusual (Unsure) reminds me of the guy kissing the dog. What's his name? Yeah, Romance. I believe Cheezy is the Mr. Boston this year. Punk is a good looking guy but his voice doesn't match his body. Oh, this Momma's Boy with the locks is MMMmmmMMMmmm gorgeous hot.

You're talking about Yours.
Yes. MMMmmmMMMmmm he is sexy. (She is purring for real.)

Well VH1 just announced there is going to be a 'Rock of Love 2'. How was the 'Rock of Love' reunion taping?
It was awesome. Lala didn't host this time around. Riki Rachtman did. There was a definite difference. He seemed to improvise & joke a lot. Riki and Bret actually know one another so they have a rapport.

A reader asked if Lacey and Bret Michaels shared the stage at anytime during the taping. Did they?
Not that I recall. Lacey shared the stage with Dallas, Brandi M. & she performed her song 'Shallow' with Nocturne. Basically the audience booed her the whole time. The T-shirt she gave Dallas tells you the type of person she is. She's just not a nice individual.

What moment stood out for you at the 'Rock of Love' Reunion taping?
When Heather came out, she looked great. The BRET SUCKS tattoo was a shocking moment. Of course you know the SUCKS was an airbrushed tattoo. It was funny. The viewer at home didn't get to see it (due to editing). But their conversation was long and a lot of things came out. You know I signed a contract. So all I'll say is Heather & Jes have valid reasons for their feelings.

Anything else you want to add?
I am just very thankful for the opportunity to attend the reunion show tapings. VH1 & 51 Minds do a great job. I really always have a great time. Also, I really like what The Blogspot does for the fans who watch the show.

Cheryl one more question, what's your opinion of the announcement Bret Michaels is going to do another 'Rock of Love 2'?
It's unfortunate things didn't work out for him this time around. I am a Poison fan. So, I am excited about another season of 'Rock of Love'. I am simply addicted to these shows.

The Q. actually enjoys interviewing. Cheryl and I were chatter boxes. Thanks Cheryl for allowing me to interview you. Well for those who'd like a chance to claw your way to Bret Michaels' heart and loins; I have something special for you.

VH1's top rated show is back for a second season and so is the front man for Poison...Bret Michaels.

After handing in her VIP pass, Jes, the pink-haired beauty proved she was not fit to handle Bret Michaels’ rock-star lifestyle. But the tour continues on and the Poison front mans searching again for someone to ‘rock his world.’ The second season will feature 20 new women pining for Bret’s heart.

If you are in the Los Angeles area and able to audition in the next week then please email your

A reunited Qmoment!

heather-krazy-crawford-charm-school

DC Livers -Managing Editor of Black Press Magazine- snagged an interview with Heather 'Krazy' Crawford (Flavor of Love 2, Charm School) that's both exclusive and explosive.

Krazy alleges she was encouraged to curse her fellow Charm School students by the show's producers and explains why she refused to attend the Charm School Reunion .

A 'quarter-way' through the interview an alarm sounds in DC Livers' office but don't be scurred, it's not Al Qaeda or nothin'.

So, let's get to the Krazy interview...

new-york-on-VH1

Charm School season 1 ended its run with a satisfying ratings result for it's Reunion Show.
Nielsen reports 3.6 million viewers watched the Charm School Reunion Show; a total that surely encourages the airing of Charm School 2, later this year.

Tonight at 8:00pm EST, Larissa appears on The Elle Word Radio Show to recap her experience at the Reunion.

As promised, Larissa's mom was the guest on this afternoon's edition of the 'Elle Word' and she left no doubt that she will defend her daughter to the very end.
The Delta woman (ΔΣΘ) -President of her Sorority- explained her and Larissa's behavior with uncommon eloquence.

There were many 'new' issues raised so you ought to listen to the podcast yourself but she did reveal Mo'Nique did not live at the mansion and was unaware of the 'drama'; relying heavily on third-party accounts.
She further explained the incident with Larissa and the phone-call; noting the call was from her boyfriend serving in Iraq, thus underlying it's importance.

At times she seemed too eager to excuse Larissa's aggressive nature but she was successful in presenting an alternative viewpoint. But, as with everything, each person will form their opinion and you can only do so if you listen to the entire podcast...

Congratulations to Gabrielle, Rican and BrownSuga for another fine interview

shay-interview-at-VH1
Aisha (the hotness) linked me to Shay's VH1 interview and it's interesting to say the least. She reveals that the confrontation among Larissa, her mom, Mo'Nique and herself went on for an hour and Larissa cried her poor heart out, saying, "I don't like the fact that people think I'm just mean and evil."

She also says Larissa threatened to check her (so you listen to Elle's show uh?) and never did anything. (Shay, your act is getting tired now. You know damn well Larissa would have 'yep-yepped'© your ass outta there)

Anyways, read the Shay interview for yourself

"yep-yepped" used by permission Mr. New York

Richard Juzwiak (wonder if they called him Dick Juz at school, lmao) was backstage at the Charm School Reunion.
Didn't read his recount because the pictures made me horny grabbed my interest.

Tonight on The Elle Word Radio Show, Gabrielle T and her co-host interviews Goldie (Flavor of Love, Charm School)
She is bound by a contract but that shouldn't stop you from asking her the tough questions. Questions like what really went down at the Charm School Reunion.

Or what was that joke that got her fired by Mo'Nique. In fact, was she fired by Mo'Nique?

Show starts at 10:00pm EST (7:00pm PST) promptly with a discussion on the Charm School Reunion before Courtney joins us at 10:20.

larissa_bootz_aurora
(BlackPressMagazine.com) - There was nothing charming about the reunion of VH1's Charm School girls. Fighting, back biting and many opportunities to hear Black women call each other Bitch were overflowing.

Even Charm School "teacher" Mo'Nique got in on the fight, nearly knocking Larissa "Bootz" Hodge Aurora out. In the end, Mo'Nique gave a speech filled with words of redemption, but most, especially Larissa, the youngest girl on the show, had already seen the look in her eyes saying: "I'm gonna knock this Bitch out."
Mo'Nique reverted to her Baltimore street fighter days which prompted a quick reaction from Larissa's mother.

Many of us had already seen Larissa's mom behind-the-scenes at the BET Awards, so we knew what drama and heat she packs. But, she and Mo'Nique....well let's just say even Floyd Mayweather couldn't get Mo'Nique out of that one.

"It was disappointing," said DC Livers, Managing Editor for Black Press Magazine and who has interviewed both Shay "Buckeey" Johnson and Larissa.
"It was a chance for people to see Black women in a good light, but that experiment clearly failed. There were moments when I'm sure Don Imus was proud."

The reunion featured a serious fight between Shay and Larissa, the two women who were most often viewed on-camera during the taping of the show as very good friends. During podcast interviews with BlackPressRadio.com, both women acknowledged nothing could be further from the truth. Websites buzzed for weeks about an alleged nightclub fight between the two in New York City, though they each denied it. But, during the Charm School Reunion Show, the women had to be separated on the show to control their fighting.

Some people admire the fight in these two women, and it's not just men.

"At a recent Black book convention, author Deja King gave me an autographed copy of her new book, 'Bitch Reloaded' that was made out to Bootz," said Livers.
"Watching Bootz during the reunion show reminded me of the book I recently reviewed by Sherry Argov entitled, 'Why Men Love Bitches', which explores the attraction men have toward dangerous women like Shay and Larissa."

"Men are highly competitive, and it’s inborn," she wrote “They love the thrill of the chase.”

That could explain why doing a segment for the upcoming VH1 reality show spin-off, "I Love New York 2" one man said something like, "I've managed to train my pitbull so I can certainly tame New York." The men who watched the show seem to long for women with Shay and Larissa-like qualities so many fear that the girls watching the show might soon start to emulate them.

Everyone knew things would get explosive with these women. So, did VH1 exploit the situation for ratings or did the network act responsibility related to the reunion show?

Message boards were buzzing seconds after the show aired with many people saying that everyone was a loser.

Bambi, a poster on the VH1 blog wrote,
"Just for the sake of argument Lorissa [sic] ..let's just say that Monique's show was 'legitimate' and that she wasn't 'being fake' or just 'out for a check despite the fact that the woman is a millionaire and didn't need to pull a heck from VH1) what did you go on the show for? If it wasn't for real.. and thatwas how you felt from jump..doesn't that make you fake? What were you looking for? Because if you weren't looking to change, what you're saying is that you just wanted to go on there to keep crap brewing.. and to be a royal pain in the ass, which is what you did. I don't feel good about what I saw tonight. As a black woman, I feel sick.. and saddened..and embarrased [sic]."

Another poster who wrote under the name of 'Enough is Enough blamed bad parenting for the breakdown of Larissa's morals.
bootz_charm_school_reunion
"I was so upset and appalled by what I seen tonight. I no longer blame Larissa for her actions. As a parent, you are suppose to raise your child with respect for self as well as others. And for Larissa to stand up there and curse Mo'Nique out and for Larrisa's mother to defend her, was pure trash, ghettoness, and lower class. Mo'Nique is older, I was always taught to respect elders. I was also taught to watch my mouth, and not to curse, especially in front of my mother. How can her mother defend her actions and not see where she went wrong with raising Larissa, if raising her at all."

Another VH1 message board poster said,

"I just finished watching the reunion show and everything makes sense: Poor Larissa victim ofher lezard [sic] looking mother. What did she come up for by the way? beat up Mo? With an immature mother like that, it is understandable that Larissa thinks that violence and wildness are the solution to everything."

But on MySpace it was a different thing. Many felt that Larissa was unfairly attacked on the show, in the press and of course by Mo'Nique.

MySpace user "Loveujoelle" said,
"I'm s[ick] and tired of people (Black) alwayz saying thiz making Black women or people look bad. Itz not making them look bad so I think ya'll and everyone need 2 just shut up and calm down ova a dumb azz show. And ya'll just hating on Larissa. She the best and she stand up 4 herself and that's a good thing so all her haters, just fall back and let her do her. Mo should've [not] walk into her face like she hard!!!"

Sadly, he has a point.
Few will be arguing that Mo'Nique exhibited teacher-like behavior during the show.

"It's common practice in the Black community that if you're sitting down and someone steps to you and stands over you that a fight is required so Mo'Nique really played herself there," said Livers. "Besides, only a fool expects rational behavior from someone is completely irrational and Larissa rarely seems rational. There's no getting to Larissa. If and when she changes, only she can determine that."

The show had twinges of racial tension as Becky a.k.a. "Buckwild" continued to play the confused White girl role but was called out by Brooke a.k.a. "Pumkin" who reminded America of the cultural differences between White and Black women.

"For blonde, White, blue-eyed girls, I was just a big flirt...right Becky?" Brooke said about her "raunchy" behavior during the Charm School prom set up by relationship expert Tariq Nasheed, who wrote the book, 'The Art of Macking.' When Becky tried to deny that she had gotten drunk and hooked up with a guy, Brooke wouldn't back down saying, "I'm going to stand strong on this because I represent you [and White girls] on this. Culturally, Black women are more conservative. I was just having fun."

Whatever you say about Brooke, you have to say she's honest because her comments were very truthful. She did represent White women on Charm School. That's why Brooke's popularity soared after spit flew from the mouth of the blonde haired, blue eyed White woman and landed on the face of a Black woman. Like it or not, Brooke did what many White people want to do.

While Charm School Reunion will likely pull big ratings for the VH1 network, it is sure to viewed as a loser for the reputations of Mo'Nique, Larissa and even Shay, who wisely apologized to America and even Larissa for her behavior saying, "I'm not about to do that on national TV."

But, no one lost bigger than the global image of Black American women. Somewhere in his bed, I'm sure Don Imus was very, very proud because his position was validated on television during the Charm School Reunion.

Steups' note: I can't say I agree with any of this save for Mo'Nique adopting a threatening posture. I am also surprised by the harshness of the tone because the interviews with these ladies have scored high ratings for DC Livers.
One of the things I am always mindful when criticising these ladies is that they are the reason people visit this site and I should try not to be a hypocrite.
If Larissa is such a demon and a terrible representative of black women, perhaps DC should not have interviewed her at all

Doesn't look like much to recap thuis far, but maybe there'll be drama when Larissa and Shhay face-off.
I'll be back with the full recap later...until then they are discussing it live in the chat-room

saaphyri-charm-school-winnerI'm off to do the recap of the Charm School Finale and you can discuss the show's conclusion in the comment box if you like, or you can visit the Elle Word Radio chat-room.
Whilst you are there, why not have another listen of Gabrielle's interview with Saaphyri, the winner of Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School
(Saaphyri comes in at the minute 8:36)
There were technical problems and we apologize

From Heat's MySpace:

Message from Charm School's Courtney (Goldie) -
Hey Heat! passin' by to say hey.
Omg! The Charm School Reunion is gonna be the bomb lol. It's crazy drama. Larissa goin crazy -as usual- but you know thats her.
Mo'nique was thinking of having a Charm School for the I Love New York guys and bring them through all them steps we been through but just better!

I was like maybe you should bring my man 'Heat' on the show he's very hot. (da hell? Goldie really thinks that?)
Lol, she was like, "Well did he do anything wrong on I Love New York, why was he eliminated?" Lol.
Why
were you?? Let me know so I could let her know.

As my Angel said, "...it looks like there will be a Charm School 2 - With the Guys - Oh LORD!"

Gabrielle_T_talks_to_Larissa's_ex-friendsNot sure if I heard it but someone said something about 'New York' at the Charm School Finale on The Elle Word Radio Show last night.
Or, it might have been the Charm School Reunion Show.

Anyways, I can't recall with certainty because the show was 2 hours long. There was just so much information that I simply cannot summarize for you.
I can tell you there is a potential spoiler for the Charm School Reunion so be forewarned.
But much of the show was devoted to Larissa's ex-friends.

There was some confusion as to their credibility but as you listen you'd come to the general conclusion that they definitely know Larissa.
And if you want to know why they are her ex-friends, I urge you to download the entire podcast but maybe it has something to do with Larissa calling the LAPD over text-messages; allegedly.
Listen to the podcast.
