They were all pretty much idiots. Larissa may be "the realest", but what good is that when you are an ass? When I saw her mom, I figured it all out. I am sure her mom loves her and did her best, but she is a result of growing up in the 90's. The same type of child rearing that gives all kids trophies, even if they finish in sixth place. The self esteem geenration. I am sure he rmom has never corrected Larissa in her life, that is why she is the way she is.

The reunion show made my eyes bleed - yet I watched the entire thing.
I still say that Leilene should have won - Saaphyri was in it just for the money, not to improve because she didn't improve in ANYTHING. Plus, like someone else said, she does like to hear herself talk. Her and Darra.... Speaking of Darra - Saaphyri is supposed to be so hard core, but remember when she was up in Darra's face about the clothes, and Darra raised her hands and was like, "what's up then" - yeah, Saaphyri sat her pouting ass down then.
As far as Larissa - that little chick need her ass beat - Monique didn't back down from her - she was trying to keep herself from killing her. If I have TIVO to capture it I would had and the dress Shay had is so similar to a dress Deelishes had on at the BET award party for 06. I just need to look at the designs. One of the main things I don't like about Larissa is when she feels disrespected, she can roll up and get all in somebody's face (which she's done to several of the girls both on FOL and Charm School) but some how it's so wrong for Mo'nique to do the same? She was cussing at Mo, being totally disrespectful... she's lucky Mo restrained herself. I would have snatched that crispy ass weave out of her head and strangled her with it. And then her mama hobbled up to the stage to take up for her. I'm glad I got to see that little exchange because it totally showcased just why Larissa acts like a petulant child. Her mama let's her get away with everything, doesn't take her to task for her foolish behavior, and then puts the blame on someone else. And then she said Mo didn't try to help Larissa, but she stayed way longer than she should have because Mo kept giving her chances she didn't deserve, hoping she would change and get something from the experience. If you watch the vspot footage, Mo was even gonna let her stay after it came out who really took the picture, all she had to do was apologize and show some sort of remorse, which of course she was completely incapable of doing.

Well yeah anyone can see that Larissa's mom has some skin disorder (vertiligo I think) BUT so what? Why should someone comment on that? That is just mean and childish cause sickness can come in any form or fashion to anyone no one is exempted.
shay craves the attention that larissa gets from the cameras. whether it be positive or negative, bootz gets a hell of a lot more camera time than all of the other girls. on every episode she lasted they showed her little comments here, there, and everywhere. and her arguments are always the highlight of every show.

Shay IS fake as hell. I don't particularly like Larissa, but one thing you can say for her, she is real with her ignorance. She is consistently a butt head. Shay just likes to fake at it. But when it comes down to it, I don't think either one of them can scrap, so they should have let the two of them go at it - since they are so childish, Shay and Larissa would have been friends again 5 minutes later - that's how it was when I was 7, and since they act like they are 7, I assume it's that way for them too. It would have been some weave and fake eyelashes in the floor and maybe some superficial facial scratches, that's about it.
What do Shay and Bootz have in common besides being Black and wearing weaves? Nothing.

i wouldnt say im a DIE HARD larissa fan, because i wont defend her at all costs. i can realize that shes immature, naive, and has ways like a teenager and she needs to get a little more experienced in the world. i wont lie about anything for her. at least the shit im saying is the truth, especially about her acting like new york. i dont even know where people are getting that bullshit from. at least larissa is natural, not forced and scripted like tiffany.

I think we are way too quick to make Larissa's mother the evil role model. Many times my mother stood up for me then messed me up at home.
I think you have to ask why her mom was there in the first place and if you are cynical you could say they are laying the foundations for a Larissa show with her mom as Sister P.
But you can also say Momma came because she had a problem with the way her child was portrayed on the show. Throughout the show Mo'Nique seemed to have very little tolerance for Larissa and a heck of a lot for Saaphyri.
