FIRST...... Media Fake Out reported that New York was Kenya Simmons and Ms. Patterson was not her mother. Now THIS..... Wolf is my FAVORITE from ILNY2. Maybe because he's from Texas or maybe just because he looks the best to (being of an average build). But just as I ALWAYS took up for Onix (My real MAN), I'm going to take up for my Wolf. It's been a week since Elle departed to her retreat with the threat that she may never again host, The Elle Word, but luckily for us she chose to carry on.

This show had everything including a bit of banter between Elle and me. But after 30 minutes, Somethin was not heard from.
Finally we got on to her as she enjoyed herself at a party and our featured guest promised to contact us in 5 minutes time in quieter surroundings. That turned out to be the bathroom (insert joke here) and after 36 mins of LIVE broadcast, Somethin took over and probably ensured this program will be the most talked about Elle Word Show, ever.
At least until we persuade Larissa to return.

If you missed yesterday's radio show you missed a banger. Hottie never showed, and we apologize for that (but we don't want to make these apologies a habit)
Nevertheless the show went on and Gabrielle, Tasha and Mina were excellent hosts.

If you haven't yet heard the podcast; here's some of what you missed:

You have to hear Mr. New York impersonate Mr. Boston. Steve (or was it Jeff) did an impression of Mikki Taylor and Larissa whilst Flawless Rose was excellent as Buckwild and Goldie.
Our surprise caller was very good as Saaphyri. And Mina did Romance.

Both ladies are among the most controversial contestants to have ever been cast in the 'Flavor of Love' series and it's spinoffs. Brooke , for example; had a threesome-shower with Flavor Flav and Hoopz; but her notoriety comes from an elimination ceremony where she spat on Reality TV Queen, Tiffany 'New York' Pollard.

Saaphyri's infamy stems from having the shortest stint of any cast-member when she was eliminated for attacking another contestant.

Elle from the comment box must have been really impressed with Buckwild's internet radio show because she grabbed an account of her own and will be the host of a 30min segment this afternoon, 5:30 pm Texas time (what time-zone is that?)

Onix is on the menu, but I'd rather have a glass of Cristal.

Who knows what she'll talk about. Maybe she'll discuss the 'double-standard' of Larissa not being sent home for calling Brooke a "white-bitch".
My opinion is, it's not that big of a deal. It clearly isn't the same when a black person adds color to the noun in this particular context. At worst it was unnecessary.

You can get all academic if you want but this is an issue that reaches beyond the word itself. When Brooke spat on 'New York', she divided the viewership to a large extent. She brought race in to it, unintentionally, I hasten to add.
I have yet to read or hear a single white woman say she was wrong. Seriously.

And that's not to say it was racist, or their not condemning her is racist; it's more to point out that the dynamic is different. Black people and white people see many issues through different lenses.
So, for that reason I see Larissa's use of the 'adjective' as a reflex outburst to what happened with 'New York'.

That might not make sense to you; and if it doesn't, I am pretty sure you aren't black.

Anyways, call-in to Elle's radio show and be reminded that Buckwild's radio show has it's second airing tomorrow. More details on that to follow.
