Buddha_I_Love_New_YorkThe Q. isn't going to bullsh!t you. I found this bulletin funny. While I believe Buddha makes some interesting points. I equally thinks he misses the mark. *sighs I'll digress and allow The Blogspot reader to chime in with their opinions of this Buddha a.k.a. Ezra post. *wonders what Revenge, Gigi, TxShawty, Electra, Dana, Baby kin, Jane, Dominican Princess, Beebs, Here4Beer, MaiTye, Groovy, Dorfam, Holly, Sawyer, SexiRican, Ava, Kelly Ann and a plethora of Anons will have to type about this. I decided to refrain from using the pink except for once. I had to at least once to keep Buddha's post as original as possible.

For those that don't know this is my 3rd and final reality television show. I was on Lifetime TV's "Gay, Straight or Taken" and B.E.T.'s "Hell Date." Coincidentally all of these shows were casted and filmed about 3 months apart from one another.

Some ask, "why reality tv?" This is an EAAAAASY answer...

"Because I apparently can't find a good women by myself!!"

The truth is I've wanted a good woman and a great family of my own ALL of my life ("YES!", there are some men that still value that). Of course now that you see me on your electric fun box you think, "he's doing this for acting, fame, showtime, yada, yada, yada" or maybe "I'd hollar at him if I'd saw him out even if he WASN'T on the show" but for MOST of you that's pure non-sense (<--- I'd like to use a different word but some kids might be reading this)!!
Ezra_I_Love_New_York_2
YOU DO SEE ME EVERYDAY!!! Perhaps its not Ezra Masters but its a guy JUST LIKE ME (at some stage or another in my life) who's trying HARD to do something with his life AND win your attention in the club, at the church, in the mall, or even at a freakin' gas station for God sake!! YOU SEE ME EVERYDAY.

The problem is too many women want a brother that's noble, gentle, honest, sexy, hard working man WITH a fat check book! Again, that's some NON-SENSE!!

Too many women now-a-days would take "a good check book" attached to a a mediocre male that take a "good man" attached to a mediocre checkbook. And the WORST part is these same women bring NOTHING to the table except loose ass and a cute face (as if there aren't a hundreds of millions of other women in this world with the same thing in a different wrapping!). These women figure "I've got time" or something along those lines. Only it doesn't dawn on them until their mid-to-late 30's that while they were wasting time with meaningless fun-filled relationships they were getting older and the competition was being born every second. Now sitll alone and at 40 (or miseralby coupled at 35) they've realized they're competition is not JUST their peers but those kids HALF their age and TWICE as vibrant!

Although I have been well-off for some time now I'll NEVER FORGET living out of my car putting MY DAAAAMN SELF through college. I'll never forget the women that passed me by then LOOKING THE SAME WAY I LOOK NOW simply because I didn't have the cars, homes, and money I do now... and I'll never forget the ones who didn't pass me by either. So.... "why New York" you ask... my answer is simple, "for all her faults and lackings she's focused on what's important... LIFE. She knows what attracts a man, what stimulates a man, and what keeps a man. She cooks (VERY WELL), cleans, laughs, smiles, thinks, feels, caters, plays and loves honestly and completely and NO MAN want's more from a woman."

For the mis-guided, MTV hypnotized, BET gazing, video-hoe wanna be's out there (<--and if that's not you then I'm not referring to you so no need to be offended)... the world is filled with BUDDHA's fighting hard for your attention while trying to be somebody in a world where he ain't nobody and the odds are he'll never be anybody.
Ezra_I_Love_New_York_2
YOU can't see the good men because this screwed-up society has convinced YOU grandma's method of "how to love a man" is wrong. (Ummmm Ezra my grandmother poisoned my grandpapa you may want to rethink that one!.) That same society has similtaneously set your tunnel vision to focus on professional athletes, drug dealers, and over paid entertainers that will NEVER give two dogs turds about you or what you think.

Here's a piece of advice, if you want a "Perfect Man" get off you lazy ass and stop hoping God grants you one that happens to be a millionaire. Find a good man and support him!! Because if he does make something BIG of himself not even GOD HIMSELF can seperate that man's love for you. And stop hateing the next woman that's doing what YOU THINK you're too good to do. AND THAT'S REAL!!

-With Love, Buddha

p.s. IF YOU GET WITH A MAN WHO BUYS YOUR AFFECTION YOU WILL NEVER BE ANYTHING MORE THAN A LEASED PRODUCT TO HIM. In time when his product becomes old or a newer model catches his attention... YOUR LEASE WILL BE UP!

OOOOOOOOO WEEEEEEEEE, he hit it right on the nose for me. I really don't care too much for Buddha on the show simply because of his looks, because the show is still too new for me to like his personality, his head is too big for my taste, and I can't help but think of Debo, even my kids say so! Anyhow, this posting deffinately makes me look at him in another light, althought like Elle mentioned in previous post, kinda Tangolike huh???

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like he may be the winner?

He made some valid points in reqards to some women.

Quanda, just curious, care to share your thoughts on why/what he misses the mark on???

  4. Unknown // 22/10/07 4:13 PM

aw- thanks for the mention :)

I'm 100% positive I do not see him everyday, lol. No one freakin looks like that down here! ....

& for some reason, this makes me think even more that tailor made is the winner XD

  5. The Q © 2010 // 22/10/07 4:21 PM

Our grandmothers use to look for a good provider. Women typically stayed at home during my grandmother's generation. He says many women nowadays are looking for a checkbook. Well generations ago it was our society that told them to look for a good provider. With that typed our society has become more materialistically driven with luxuries rather than necessities. So it is logical that many women would be in turn looking for the 'Fat Checkbook' if we are to based it off our grandmothers. LOL!

I don't happen to be one of the women he writes about. However, I found his logic/ experience interesting.

He asks the question "Do we see the 'EZRAs'?"

My reply is 'Do the EZRAs SEE the women who aren't video vixens or in reality television shows? Do the EZRAs see the women who are striving for their goals, reading the newspaper, picking up a book and will support their mate thru thick and thin?'

    LOL!

Q, youre in the right line of work!!! My mind doesn't think that quickly but I see your point

  7. PaleBlackSheep // 22/10/07 4:29 PM

Ahh Q, when I first read his bullentin I agreed 100% with what he said, but you have def shed a new light on it. Of course anyBODY with half a brain is going to look for someone to be a good provider, I know when I married my husband, he would be a good provider, although at the time he didn't have two pennies to rub togeather, but he had the potential to be successful if he had someone to help him and be his partner. but you are correct in that men do not see the good woman either, they are too busy lookin for a "dime" I know my husband got ragged by his boys about me because I am not model material, but after 10 years we are still togeather and these guys seen their dime has turned out to be a penny in disguise LOL

Thanks Drama Queen and Pale for reading the posts & commenting.

When my mind clicks on (very rare), I'll pick apart a point to it's bare bones.

    LOL!

I really enjoyed reading his thoughts.

I think I am going to radio blog about this issue tonight.

This man shares the same problem as "serious" from fol perfect from head to toe till they open their damn mouth. Hater, pass one of them peanutbutter sandwiches over here. My mother in law from my first marriage once told me "Never trust a black man with green eyes, it's Gods way of telling ya @ first glance that something just ain't right",leave it alone.

  12. Anonymous // 22/10/07 4:57 PM

LOL @ beebs! Ill have to keep your mother in laws advise in mind, that's a new one for me!

"Never trust a black man with green eyes, it's Gods way of telling ya @ first glance that something just ain't right",leave it alone."

HAHAHAHAHAHA @ I've NEVER dated a green eyed African American male. My paternal side is fill with green, hazel, blue eyed individuals.

I've heard the saying growing up. I think light color eyed African American men are equally as attractive to their brown eyed peers. However, I am not attracted to them.

The only thing light on a brother I want is the white of his eyes, his teeth and his temper.

Terrance Howard & Gary Dourdan are nice eye candy; look but don't touch.

    LOL!

Oh and I cried when my daughter was born with blue eyes. I prayed every night they would turn brown. At five and half months they started turning.

  15. Unknown // 22/10/07 5:09 PM

Hmmm interesting , you know Q` I already called it Hes the winner or whatever it is u call it when u "win" New York's lil pink/black heart"lol!! ....He feels this way YET he ended up WITH TIFFANY POLLARD ,!!!! lmao!! so what did he say in his interview about "WOMEN?" Oh ya he was looking for REAL ONES, JUST LIKE NEW YORK, Oh and he was looking for REAL LOVE AND REAL EVERYTHING ....okay I got it..Shes the ONE !! Ava signing off...:P

  16. Anonymous // 22/10/07 5:10 PM

so do you have colored eyes Q? In Mexican culture, green eyes are ok, but blue means you are not a true/full Mexican, go figure!

  17. Anonymous // 22/10/07 5:12 PM

I have to agree with Buddha. As much as we watch TV and want to create characters out of these people, some of them honestly have their hearts in the right place.

Contrary to Q's grandma lol my granny didn't poison my grandfather. They had 11 kids, and they were together until he died, she never remaried and she just died at the age of 82. I would love to have that everlasting type of love my grandparents and my parents (married 28) years have.

I'm with you on the green eyes Beebs, I dated a green eyed Half Black Half Dominican, and I didn't know he was a drinker...... lol once I found out I couldn't tell her had anything but dominican in him, cause that negro was crazy.

  18. Anonymous // 22/10/07 5:13 PM

I'm still not 100% because in her interview she says the winner is not someone she had chemistry with in the beginning, basically a shocker, and she seemed sprung from the get go on Buddha! But at this point he appears to be in the lead.

  19. Anonymous // 22/10/07 5:19 PM

Something tells me that one of the quiet men like mr wise, punk or 20 pack who aren't talkin alot are one of the main guys who will get the win in the end

  20. Anonymous // 22/10/07 5:24 PM

or Taylor Made, the underdog at this point???

  21. Unknown // 22/10/07 5:27 PM

    Hi Q and every1 else,
I agree with u q do the ezras in the world look at the regular women and see them for what they really are, i grew up in a house with 5 older brothers and only one of them goes for the reg girls the other 4 go for the big asses and pretty faces.

My husband has green eyes and hes sorta crazy.

  22. Unknown // 22/10/07 5:29 PM

I think he might be the winner and ny is trying to throw ppl off with her answers to who she chose.
I dont think she would cook while on the show so how does he know shes a good cook?

  23. Unknown // 22/10/07 5:31 PM

I just realized doesnt he look like tango in the last pic for a quick minute?

  24. Anonymous // 22/10/07 5:33 PM

  35. Wumpus // 22/10/07 7:08 PM

This negro has got some game! After reading this, he wil find all sorts of career women, not chicks with jobs, banging down his doors!

He is crazy if he thinks NY is anything real or ideal about her. Apparently he did not watch her on the previous shows. Didn't they have a whole show with Omanrosa focusing on career, personal wealth, etc?

This is simply another rouse to get some more panties to fall.

He plays the sensitive role, but unless Tailor made did some real foul stuff to him, there is no way for Debo to snap on dude.

He does have some points, I saw a lot of the same traits in women/girls as I was growing up. But who doesn't want to be famous? I was never the most handsome, athletic or smoothest guy around, but I was always smart, funny and very nice. Most/many females were chasing the star athletes drug dealers or people with a lot of money.

Lets be cereal, no one wants someone living out of their car..if that is the case, somehing has gone cereally wrong. Living out of a Buick Century is not sexy. But, he was in college and trying to better himself, so someone should have given dude a shot.

Finally, I must reiterate that this is a ploy to get female lawyers, accountants and other women waiting to exhale to give him some love/brains/sex.

What I found so interesting was that Ezra has been on 3 reality shows!!! I remember that was one of the questions New York and her mother had for previous contestants...hmmmm Im not trying to be difficult here BUT I remember !2 pak in the First season got reamed and a few others for being on other reality shows or TV and what not.....its "okay" this season or was it THOSE GREEN EYES??? lol ITS JUST TO OBVIOUS WHO's show this really is ,hint E and T entertainment...the rest of the guys are just EYE CANDY for the viewers sake oh, and we appreciate it...for sure..:)Cmon! EVERYONE whos SERIOUS about finding love ....LETS HEAD TO THE NETWORKS!!!Next commercial...Budda and Tiffany did it....I feel another "hit series coming on...:P

at first i thought NY was just fuuuugly but now i realize she's stupid too. i'm not only referring to her drama queen antics either which only makes her an idiot.
NY breaks the barrier between idiocy and flat stupidity when she thinks she can cancel her show just cuz she wants to. she isn't mariah carey or something. if she has no show she may as well fall off the face of the earth.

and also watching these shows really makes me realize how much of a "game" dating has become and how we all need to hone up our game to stay pimp. thus i'm now getting into virtual dtaing games lol here's one thats pretty good i found recently:

  46. Groovy Noodles // 22/10/07 10:42 PM

Sorry I'm late on this -- I had a really busy day.

OK I read the post. I have two thoughts...

    1. "The truth is I've wanted a good woman and a great family of my own ALL of my life ("YES!", there are some men that still value that). Of course now that you see me on your electric fun box you think... "I'd hollar at him if I'd saw him out even if he WASN'T on the show"

    Ummmm, pick me! Pick me!

    2. As for the rest of his thing? Dude, it's just not that serious to be so analyzed. I really believe that you meet someone, and either they *are* The One, or they're not. Obviously most of the time they're not. But I firmly believe in the old adage that love comes when you're not looking for it. Let it happen (or not) and screw all this analytical crap.

I also believe that most of the men (not all) went on the show for their own ulterior motives. This also goes for ILNY1 and all three FOLs. Was Buddha one of them? Who knows? And really, who cares why anyone is on the show? It's all for entertainment. But if Buddha-Baby (who, incidentally, is now tied for my #1 spot with Pretty) went on there for something other than the love of NY, then dude, don't try to convince us otherwise. We're not fools.

That is all. Carry on. ;)

*waves to Q before I jump afk again* I need to talk to you girl. Nothing important -- it's just been too long and I miss ya.

I'm going to need Buddha to sit down and be quiet. He was so much sexier when he wasn't talking. The constant whining has worn thin. His little temper tantrums, along with the fact that he resembles D-bo from Friday are really turning me off the dude. At first he seemed like a nice, articulate, intelligent guy. Where did he go, or was that an illusion to begin with.

    C'mon Buddha - it's not that deep.

  49. Anonymous // 30/11/07 11:40 AM

I think Budda is a real jerk and is just trying to get New York because he can. He is way to violent for her she like the fake thugs like Chance and Tango she doesnt know what to do with a real n!gg@ her mouth is too slick and a real man would slap her silly. Puls I dont see Budda as a bow down purse holder. NY want some one she can control and he is not in her frame work. Budda will not win.
