Hey Mz. D! Dammit, I miss my long hair. I had mine to just about an inch below my waist, but I got it all cut off over the summer. I had planned on never, ever cutting it, but when my niece was hit with cancer and began losing her hair to chemo, it got me thinking that probably other people would appreciate my hair more than I would, so I cut it all off and donated it to Locks of Love. Now I plan on growing it long again, but when it hits my waist, I'll donate it again.

Hey everyone! Is anyone on here anymore, I know it's late and all but wanted to post since I always do.
First, I read all (yes, ALL) the posts. What the Kramer guy said was disgusting, completely uncalled for and not forgivable. He can apologize all he wants, we all know from the recent Mel Gibson thing that people don't say things unless they mean them. Being drunk or being mad does not make you suddenly spew hateful things. I've been both drunk and mad as hell and I have never in my life called anyone a racial or ethnic slur, EVER. A very smart blogger (she knows who she is)once said to me in an email, "We were all made beautifully and fearlessly in God's love." She is 100% right. It is extremely unfortunate that there is so much hate between people over how much melanin someone has in their skin. Michael Richards is a straight up ignorant asshole.
On a completely different, not serious note, I finally have that horrible "Butterfly Kisses" song out of my head, YAY!

i just saw that michael richards video. he issued a public apology tonight, saying that he "just got angry," blah blah blah. i call bullshit on that one. it's sociologically proven that when people get angry, they'll lash out at anything visible on the aggressor, which is most often race or age or gender or something else obvious. i'll give him that.
but i've never gotten so angry that i say something like "that's what happens when you interrupt the white man."

Driving down the road, driver who appears to be hispanic runs a stop sign.

Yes it is my awful reality but I have said all those thing and worse. Is it inappropriate? Yes but I say it in anger.

Electra, first of all, you didn't butt in on any conversations, silly girl. The way I see it? If it's posted on a public forum, it's open conversation.
For what it's worth, I do try to stay out of the Irre/Electra debates because that's not my place. But for anyone to dislike you simply because you have a good rapport with anyone is silly. Now that we're seeing the good side of Electra, I really like you. (That came out really wrong -- I hope you know what I meant. It was meant as a compliment.)
And I hope you understand, too, that I can't always tell the difference between the real ones and the imposters anymore. No offense, but they're getting damn good at imitating you. It used to be that I could laugh off the imposters (including when they used my name) because it was so obvious that they were fake, but it's much harder to tell anymore.
