nikki hoopz_jpegWell, I am late with this one so I'll write about it just for the record; Hoopz was arrested yesterday for assaulting an officer.

WXYZ Action news were on spot and they reported it on their website as follows

Police said a reality TV star assaulted a police officer, but she believes she was the one who was attacked and claims it started with harassment from her neighbors.

Nicole Alexander gained national attention on the reality show "Flavor of Love."

Alexander said, since she moved into her Dearborn home, the drama with her neighbors has reached a boiling point.

One neighbor said Alexander doesn't bother her at all, but others have called police multiple times.

Alexander said her neighbors don't like her because her family and friends are mostly black. She said they've called police just to harass her.

Tuesday night, when several Dearborn police officers arrived to investigate a noise complaint, Alexander claimed an officer grabbed her as she was speaking her mind about feeling harassed.

"He walked up, took the door, opened the door back up. Grabbed me by me neck and I just remember flying down these steps. While I'm falling, I gripped on to him and we fall. Now we wrestling and two more cop guys come and jump on me," she said.

Alexander was arrested for assaulting an officer. She said the fight left her bruised.

"We get to the police station and they're all inside like, 'Oh you know who she is right? That's such and such from the show. We're going to get good pictures of her,'" said Alexander.

Neighbors, who did not want to be identified, said Alexander and people who visit her home disrespect the neighborhood by speeding up and down the street and with their loud music and other noise.

Alexander and her relatives said neighbors have called police to her home about six times, but police said they only have a record of coming to the home once before.

police are the police, first of all.
second, why is it always somebody elses fault with this girl. I wasnt there but based on her track record, I'm sure she was poppin off at the mouth and that shit finally caught up with her. Maybe vh1 will put her mugshot on that celebrity arrested show and she can get 15 more minutes.

LOL @ 12:44 Anonymous....yup your right about the "poppin off at the mouth" but....there's a difference between an armed suspect and a 5 foot 2 (or whatever) hot head (yeah I said it, so what)female. The whole thing is sort of funny in a way...it took what, two other officers to break it up. Dayum.

Is there a moral to this story, {other than she will tap that ass}, well that depends. In hiphop culture these type of events are celebrated...like it or not...and the fellows just love a "ride or die" dyme (dime) or whatever. Nikki's the real deal, no doubt.

Love her or hate her, she is what she is.....singing Field Mob featuring Ciara..."so what, soooo what."

    ;)

I agree with both of you guys but a little more with the first poster. Armed or not, you cannot just think you are going to speak to the police, especially ones that MIGHT be racist any old kind of way. Just like you said about there is a difference between an armed suspect and a 5'2 hothead female, there is a difference between a ride or die chick and a girl who just has not realized when to shut the hell up.

Anonymous 4:06...I get your point. Live and learn definitely. None the less, that's why they call them ride or die...their more "reactive" than they are "reflective." And with luck, if they "learn" along the way, they become what you are referring to...an OG, thats really the difference.

In the meantime, my money is on Nikki, TKO round 2. ;-)
