lindsay_lohanThe Elle Word is not just a VH-1 reality-television internet radio-show. Occasionally they focus on topics outside of the norm and tonight is one of those nights as they debate celebrities and special treatment.

  1. Do they receive special treatment, as in Paris Hilton's farcical jail sentence?
  2. Or special mistreatment as in Martha Stewart's harsh confinement?
  3. Is R Kelly being prosecuted or persecuted?

All this, and debates on Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan, Lil Kim and Remy Ma tonight at 10pm EST on the Elle Word more with Brown Suga and her co-host.

No, but they have the bette rlawyers. Often, the extra cost of securing them is not worth it.

Sometimes, judges want to make an example which is fine.

Is R Kelly being prosecuted or persecuted?

    lmao @ grandkids!!

R Kelly is a pedophile, plain and simple. They need to throw that man UNDER the mf'in jail.

It hurt my heart to give up on R Kelly way back when, especially since I'm from Chicago and he put our city on the map. But when he *ahem* had all that *ahem* ... FUN... with Sparkle's 14 year old niece (not to mention the *ahem* golden shower), I had to let that freaky Chester Molester go right along with Michael Jackson's weird self.

I'll still get my ass on the floor if Slow Dance, Bump N Grind, or Your Body's Callin comes on though. shoot.

    Oh No :-(

I don't think we should send R. Kelly to jail any more.

As he said (sang) himself "What's R&B without "The R""

Come on (not speaking from personal experience or anything) - I am sure the man has helped many of us get in the mood many a time and helped us get some of the "Greatest Sex" as we practiced our "12 Play" and did a little "Bump and Grind" or got some keys in our "Ignition" to become "Happy People" and have a "Fiesta"

Should a man like that really go to prison???? (lol)

Yes if he prays on underage girls.

R Kelly did some really nasty shit with an underage girl. He should do the time. The man is sleazy. And while sleazy isn't a crime, having sex with minors is.
