NEW-YORK-TV-GUIDEFiercest Bachelorette? What a 'dumbass' award to present to New York.
Anyways it's news so I'll publish it...

TV Guide has an interview as well, it's the same stuff...

1) she's still in love
2) Sister Patterson doesn't like the guy
3) she likes thugs

No wonder the ratings for I love New York were 4million+ last Monday; our girl has been working overtime with the media. She might have done an interview with Blender Magazine as well (it's explosive)

Read the TV Guide interview with Tiffany New York Pollard.

You know where this scene is from, New York is pissed at Tango and moons him at the top of the stairway balcony. But look to the right; is that a man?
And if it is, who is it?

New York is in Plenty of M@thaf@#$ing Houses

tiffany-new-york-pollardQuanda talks a lot of trash. Geezus....I really do. But the bottom line is that I watch the show along with millions of others. And last Monday was no different, 4.1 million to be exact. 'I Love New York' Episode 7 had people tuning in extra.

3.4 million for Episode 6 to 4.1 million is a big jump to say the least. Steups and I are thinking a lot of exes were interested in this episode. Go figure!

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed 'I Love New York' Episode 7. I personally didn't want to see new-york-chance-tongue-kiss-jpegWhiteboy's ex so Melissa was a breath of fresh air as far as I am concerned. Big ups to the big sisters all around the world.

Now back to the sista some of us love and some of us love to hate on: New York. New York's show is pulling phenomenal numbers. Weave or not, Tiffany Pollard is a VH-1 success story.

Who would've thought besides 'The Original Mr. New York' that so many enjoyed watching New York? Duh ....I guess VH-1. All bad weave and boob jokes aside, the H.B.I.C. is a mega success. And I for one am not mad at her
( as long as Whiteboy doesn't win).

Congratulations to New York, Sister Patterson, Chamo and the remaining Fabulous Four ~Tango, Whiteboy, Real, and Chance!!! And hell 12 Pack too, you will be missed. We are loving (some hating) you all!

You have just shared a Qmoment!

new-york-i-love-new-yorkWe've missed New York haven't we?
Sure she's had her moments but her fans know we were just scratching the surface; until this Episode.
Well, the Flavor of Love 1 New York is back....but let's get to the recap

8:58
(The show always seems to begin with a guy in bed or at an exercise machine; if that happens one more time I'll cut myself with a razor-blade)

9:01
12 Pack and Real are on the grounds working out....
(Oh f*ck)

Moving on...
Last episode Tango vowed to be more assertive and show New York in a tangible way that he's prepared to fight for her (for; not with) and the opening scenes immediately proves that the two week break did not scupper his plan
(what's that? The two weeks didn't actually take place at the time of filming? Whateva)

Taking a leaf from someone I can't recall Tango prepares a platter of one rose and a love letter which he gently places at the foot of New York's bedroom door. New York gathers her morning gift and reads the note aloud (it's tv after all. Shoot; we gotta know what's in there)
The note read:
new-york-tango-love-letterTo my New York,
I am not them, I am him.
(Wow; that's some Khalil Gibran shit)

The scene shifts to the first-floor where the men are, and soon enough they are instructed to gather at the foot of the staircase for an announcement from New York.
New York appears and prefaces the announcement with a short speech that informed the contestants they would be welcoming special guests today; guests who knew them best.

Chamo, with that undignified walk of his, stepped forward to open the main door and present the first guest.
Who could it be? Malay (or however the name is correctly spelled); Chance's ex-girlfriend!
(Oh shit; I thought the ides of March were the 15th; not the 5th? Why bring the back-stabbers?)

New York had invited the ex-girlfriends of the remaining guys to learn more of her suitors.
Malay was pretty (or rather is pretty, I don't think she's dead) . Far too pretty for Chance. But if Jay-Z has Beyonce and DJ AM has Mandy Moore; then anything can happen if you're in the right place.

Of course the guys now knew what was up and waited with nervous anticipation for their ex to appear. Whiteboy looked more nervous than most (hmmmmn)

Next came Sunny, Tango's ex-girlfriend and they shared a hug as the scene shifted to the 'confessional' where New York described her as a "disgrace"
The third special-guest was Melissa; Whiteboy's sister.
(wtf?)

The producer's, try as they did, could not locate Whiteboy's ex-girlfriend and he looked happy as heck to see his sister.
(my guess is to locate Whiteboy's ex, you'll need a shovel, a torchlight and a bullet-proof vest, lmao)

Melyssa (maybe it's with a 'y') is fairly attractive and Real described her as "hot". But if she's 'hot', what word is there for Real's ex?
Cianna is her name (assuming it's the correct spelling) and she is pretty; certainly pretty enough to catch New York's attention.

New York described her as "the cutest one" but was quick to note she's a "stick figure, she can't do anything like I can do it"
Finally, there was Jamie, 12 Pack's ex, who prompted this comment from 12 Pack..."what the hell is she doing here? The last time I talked to the girl I said 'f*ck you' and hung up on her"

But they aren't here for one last fling with their exes and New York and her mother leave with the ladies as Chamo does the 'hot wuk' as he follows them.

:::Among the ads is one that announces Charm School will debut in April:::

(that was nice, but I saw it all before on V-Spot so I can't wait for the ads to end)

And so they do with the second act beginning in a huge white stretch limo and immediately champagne is popped and the dirt is dished...

New York: how is Tango in the bedroom?
Sunny: that's one of his good attributes.
New York: What are his bad points?
Sunny: The bad is everything comes before his relationship

Sister Patterson: Tell me about Chance. Have you ever seen him get high?
Malay: In the industry....I mean, I am sure he does it

Sister Patterson: So Jamie; 12 Pack...so he's totally straight?

Jamie: a few times he's worked at Feather's (a gay strip Club). He adores giving lap-dances, absolutely adores it.
(Chamo's face lights up)

Back in the mansion the guys are discussing the surprise sprung on them and 12 Pack seems particularly down. He is worried because "my ex-girlfriend thinks I have a new girlfriend and doesn't know I broke up with her not too long before I came out here."

Chance is nervous but it's not as apparent. He says "I treat all my women very good"; then he does the 'bang bang bang dance' John Witherspoon did all the time on the 'Wayans Bros.'

The scene returns to the ladies at the Beauty Shop and Malay complains that "Chance was trying to get into my personal life"
(wtf? You're his girlfriend! Get the f*ck outta here with that)

New York's response to that? "I like your honesty. I do like to walk on the wild side and he takes me there"
(but what about Whiteboy? Aren't you gonna ask his sister some shit?)

New York: (Whiteboy) who is he most in love with?
Melissa: Definitely his most recent girlfriend...5 years is a long time.
(five years? He's only 24? Something is not right about that; Whiteboy looks like a gold-fish wouldn't hang around him for five days. Who'll stay five years with that busta?)

Sunny, feeling left out, volunteers that her feelings for Tango, "will never go away".
In reply, New York (in the confessional) says "she better watch her damn step. I'll take that b*tch and cut her in half"real-ex-girlfriend-cianna
She's also concerned that Real is still in love and warns, "I am definitely no ones rebound"

New York seems pleased with the information she's extracted and says, "the girls really opened up. Who wouldn't they are getting free manicures"
(lol)

The ladies are told to return to their hotel rooms to freshen up (where they bashed New York, no doubt) and meet later for "dinner, cocktails and conflict" (sounds like one of my dates)

The dinner
The girlfriends are returned to the mansion in a black limousine and soon they are sat at the dinner table next to their respective ex-boyfriend and brother (smh)
New York asks, "is there anything you guys want to tell me or confess?"
12 Pack seizes the opportunity to admit he dated a girl for four weeks prior to his coming to the mansion but it ended when she learnt he was a contestant.

New York didn't seem impressed.
(then, why ask if anyone has something to confess?)

New York: I heard you used to work at a gay strip Club call 'Feathers'?

This sets it off at the dinner table with Real and Whiteboy acting the most shocked (I stress on 'acting') and 12 Pack answers the accusation with a reply that began with two friends, included his being paid $27 an hour; and ended with his receiving "like 95 bucks in about 15 minutes work"
(dude, that means you got $88 in tips for giving men lap-dances. Not a good defence)
At this point it'll take something really special to save 12 Pack from elimination.

Whiteboy is next and New York confronts him about not telling her of his five-year relationship
New York turns her attention to Tango and says, "you lost a great girl...you want her (Sunny) back?"
Tango stumbles and answers, "that part of our relationship doesn't exist anymore"

Just when she had Tango cornered; Chance bails him out with a drunken, Hennessey-inspired intervention. The focus is now on Chance and he launches into a bizarre rap...

"I was too busy spending time with my boys
And she was too busy playing with her toys"

(I knew that girl was freaky and....wait? Did Chance just admit he is gay?)

New York's response to the drunken rant is, "the man is nuts, he's crazy, he's psychotic, and he talks before he thinks; so we have a lot in common"
(lmao)

It's Real's turn in the hot-seat now and with his customary method of dash and honesty he confesses "I've got a lot of feelings for the girl (Cianna) but I wouldn't say I am in love with the girl", without any consequence whatsoever.
(the boy is smooth)

As they leave for drinks outside in the garden, New York notes the attention Tango is giving to Sunny and reminds us that she is "a jealous-ass woman"
And goes farther to say "just because I invited Tango's ex doesn't mean he spends more time with her than me"
(the HBIC is boiling)

Outside, 12 Pack and his girlfriend discuss his appearance on the show and New York overhears him say "this show will be the #1 show in America and I'll get any job"
(smh...I thought you were smarter than that, son)
sunny-tango-hug
Tango finally steps over to New York to chit-chat but she brushes him off with "go talk to your girlfriend" and let's Tango know by actions and words that she doesn't want him around her. As Tango says "at that moment without saying anything else I decided to bounce"

The party ends and it's time for the girls to leave and they all congregate at the door but New York notices one person is missing.
Who is it? Tango!

New York walks upstairs to search for Tango and finds the Tan-man packing...
(Awww shitttttt)

Pt2

tiffany-new-york-pollardTango is packing leisurely as New York enters the room....
(because we know damn well that boy doesn't want to go anywhere)

New York: what's going on?
Tango: you know, you know what's going on.
New York: (voice raised) so Sunny's here and you're leaving me?
Tango: I am going because you ignored me and (you're) trying to make me look like a fool and I hate that.
(trust, that ignoring shit hurts like a muffuca)

New York taunts Tango, pushing him in the chest and getting in his face as he cowers the way a man does when he knows he can't fight back but the rage is building.
She slaps the cap off his head and escapes downstairs to rid herself of the guests, the way your mother did when she's steaming to give you a right, good spanking.

Upstairs, Tango is in a confused state, almost discombobulated as he says, "I am losing my sexy right now, I am losing my sexy; I am losing my cool"
(Damn, and Justin worked so hard to bring that shit back, smh)

In the foyer, New York ushers her guests out the door and untruthfully says 'we should do this again sometime'. But she's steaming and thinks "I am not letting no man f*ck me up in my own crib"
The moment the guests leave, New York screams, "where he at!"

The fight
New York chases after Tango and they get into it:

New York: what the f*ck did I do to you to make you want to leave me tonight? I am 'tawking' to you!
Tango: you been dissin' me tonight from point A to point B
(that boy talks funny doesn't he?)

The guys are engrossed with the argument as Tango and New York seem very close to getting physical with each other but eventually, New York becomes bored with her audience and pleads, "can i have some privacy please?"
In a display of bravado she says to them, "you are my Fantastic Four", knowing this would further incense Tango.

With them gone, 'twas back to arguing again...

New York: Yo ass is fake, yo ass is fake. Faker than pleather; faker than faux fur.
(actually, faker is a noun, I think. Whateva)
Tango: (screaming loudly) What is it! You want me to go?

New York walks away and up the stairs to the retreat of her bedroom but says, "I hate you"

Tango: (sarcastically) I love you too
New York: yeah, yeah, yeah. Sure you do; that's why you're bouncing.
Tango: I guess you'll never know will you?

New York, at the top of the stairs now, turns around, flips her dress and moons him -reunion show style. She then runs to her bedroom; crashes face down on her bed and cries.

Tango is in a quandary; he knows damn well he doesn't want to leave but he almost has to now because his 'pussy card' is played out. He can't afford to not follow through on his threat. His only hope is an intervention of some sort and luckily, New York has a change of heart.

After a rethink, New York concludes she's solely at fault, and goes to Tango to persuade him to stay. She confesses to him, "only a man I care for can make me this upset" and "watching you with another woman gets to me".
He responds, "watching you watching me with another woman.....blah blah"
(Tango loves to hear himself speak, methinks. You have her where you want her; just shut-up already)

Finally they kiss, and kiss, and kiss and kiss before retiring to their respective bedrooms.
Now, if Whiteboy was around he would have learnt a few things (like not swallowing the woman's head when kissing) but our boy was too busy mixing cocktails with Chance.
whiteboy-chance
And soon enough he and Chance were mixing 'cocktales' too.
(Ask yourself this, if you were a straight, drunk male would you end up in the bedroom of the suspected gay guy?)
(Exactly!)

Maybe it was the drinks or the sight of 12 Pack face down in Speedos; but Whiteboy and Chance began a bizarre mating ritual with Chance punching stuff off the wall and Whiteboy fondling 12 Pack's legs.
They soon righted their minds however, and Chance confronted 12 Pack, saying "be honest with your dawgs"

12 Pack was not amused, "I like both of you but don't make me get up and beat the f*ck out of both of you"
Remember the Whiteboy who dared Tango to "step out the car and I'll beat your f*cking ass"?
Well he must have gone home because this version of Whiteboy escaped so quickly from the bedroom I never saw him leave.
Chance shared his cowardice but was more honest, "I ain't ready for no blood-shed, that (12 Pack's threat) scared the shit out of me"
(lmwbhao....which means, laughing my Whiteboy-hating ass off)
(lol)

What a night!

The Day after: the Date
Sister Patterson arrived very early the next morning to announce the guy whom she selected for a date with New York; and naturally, she chose Real, her favorite.
New York wasn't having it and, with her mom gone; lied to the guys that her (Sister P's) choice was Chance.

The date was at Chez Cherie Cooking School where they met Cherie herself. The meal (to be prepared by Chance) was an appetizer of asparagus with cheese, wrapped in prosciutto.
New York was mightily impressed by Chance's cooking and even more impressed by his swagger as they kissed hungrily.
According to her, she "was ready to pop, blow-out and push it out on the table right there"
(I guess I am not as sexualized as I thought because I just don't get that innuendo/metaphor)

A gift was produced again (which makes me wonder why Mr. Boston received nothing) and on this occasion it was a ring-box which led to a really funny comment from Chance, "I know we ain't getting married that fast"
(lol)
Turns out it was an ear-ring box and Chance was the happy recipient of Diamond studs; big ol' diamond studs.

So happy was Chance with the date that he lifted her into the limousine for the trip home, and screamed like DiCaprio in Titanic when he returned to the mansion. He declared the date an A+ as Tango entered the room in a bathing towel
(I declare Tango's body a disaster area...is FEMA still around?)

Elimination
New York opened the proceedings by saying, "I'm nervous; you will always be my Fabulous Five"
(what's with her obssession with F-word alliteration, this episode?)

(I am tired now so let's just cut to the chase)
In order, chains were given as follows:

1) Chance - "I'm still floating from that date"
2) Whiteboy - "there's just something about those dreamy bedroom eyes"
3) Real - "you keep me grounded and you're so funny" (or some ish like that; the memory is fading and failing)
12-pack-night-club
Predictably it was down to 12 Pack and Tango, but 12 Pack was never going to receive a chain.
In his typical style he departed on good terms...

New York: I hope you do blow-up
12 Pack: thank you for having me

And that was that; the end of I love New York Episode 7.
In Episode 8, to air next week; the guys visit Palm Beach and go golfing and fly in a hot-air balloon.
The week after, in Episode 9; the mothers of the three remaining contestants are invited to the mansion.
(who will Whiteboy send this time)

Laterz; thanks for reading...(winks at Dana)

real-i-love-new-york-girlfriendNothing exciting to write about today.
I could stretch something and create a few paragraphs but why bother?

A couple things should interest you though; we have entered into a quasi partnership with YouTube editorial star, Princess Erica to provide an I Love New York video-cast. Her I Love New York video-casts should premiere on Monday, but no promises.
It's not a permanent arrangement; ideally Quanda, myself, or perhaps someone you know from the comments box will eventually produce and/or star in the video-casts.

Until then, let's hope Princess Erica blesses us with her unique commentary; for our writings must have developed a sameness to it and we like to keep things fresh around here.

What else?
Well, I have my microphone now, and it was astonishingly expensive, so I'll probably record my voice saying something stupid and say it's a podcast or something. It's the new rave among I Love New York websites so I am copying the idea.

That's it for me then, I have to see a man about a horse.

V-Spot has the first few minutes of Episode 7 of I Love New York, but for those of you with dial-up Internet access or slow-ass DSL, here's what you're missing.

New York invites the guy's ex-girlfriends to the mansion to assist her decision-making because, as Tango says, "you can't dig deeper than a man's ex."
The guys were not aware at the beginning when Chamo asked them to gather at the foot of the staircase. But New York had the courtesy to inform them of the arrival of special guests before she asked Chamo to present them...

Oh hell naw! Wtf are you doing with a guy like Chance
