The Q. has to make this quick because I am T-I-R-E-D. Kats grabbed me a few pictures of New York at the 'I Love New York 2' Reunion taping. Thanks Kats! I heard twinkle and shine attire is all the rage right now.
Kate so graciously linked us to a finale spoiler. (If you don't click it, guess what you won't know who won. And nothing is ruined for those who want to wait until Monday night) Shawn showed us a .gif earlier. So we definitely know who wins New York's heart. Why the hell is Sister Patterson slapping the fool out of ___________? The life condition continues. One is not meant to plim everything. *sighs
Between our calculating readers and Buddha's blogs we knew who the winner was five episodes ago or earlier. To bad the Punk & Buddha beef didn't start six weeks ago. We would've thought Punk was the winner. But we didn't have such luck so we are watching the finale simply to give New York the ratings she deserves. New York was pulchritudinous in the finale episode of 'I Love New York 2'. Don't miss the 'I Love New York 2' finale on Monday, December 17th @9pm. A big thanks to VH1 & 51 Minds for an awesome season!
What do you think of New York's appearance at the reunion & finale? Let's discuss it in the comment box?

Better than I expected. She looks banging.
She does actually look prettier than normal...:P Her makeup and hair her clothes...Maybe Tailor Made and his background in the clothes industry has already started rubbing off on her!! lol or its just good ole fashioned "LOVE":)
I think she should stick with the stylist she hired this season. She definitely looked better than ever! I like her finale style better than the reunion...sometimes less is more with her in the makeup department.
Were you her stylist Mysty?? cmon come clean....:P hehe
lol...I'm nowhere near a makeup artist! The most I wear is colored lip gloss, eyeliner, and mascara...and that's considered my "dressy" look. I like to stick with my flavored glosses or go au naturale.
Well She looked stunning and I wanted to say she acted lovely...Im thinking that thing she did to Punk, the over the shoulder "I love you "to Buddha was her way of baiting that gaitor(Buddha crybaby) and in the end BOOM, FOR THE KILL!! What da think??I mean she was pretty cool til she did that to the good guy...:( Im thinkin it was her strategy to humiliate Buddha for what he did to TM...I think she love TM long time ago..
Thanx Mysty....:)
IDK...I think she went for the person who was most secure, not financially, but emotionally. The guy who lost was really just trying to win for the sake of winning. First he's not IN love with her on their date, then he's changing his tune at elimination. She knew if she picked him she'd be dumped again. I think she may grown to love the winner, but at the finale she didn't seem too sure. Who knows with NY? lol
One thing she knows..she LOVES nice things...:)
No problem Ava, as for NY, she probably is tired of running after everyone else and is looking for someone who wants her more than she wants him. Also I never thought she would pick Punk...she seems like she wants a man that's less attractive so she doesn't have to fight off the groupies. I mean, who but her wanted Flav for REAL?
ROFLMAO!!! BADA BING!!! LOL!! YOU GO MYSTY!!
I'm not saying she didn't sleep with him though, 'cause that's iffy! She did say she thought Punk would be good for a lay...hmmm
well if she did then, its even worse for his ego that she let him go....geeeeesh and picked the lil scrawney guy with the big copper pipe!!! lol
But then again Punk is okay with punk...:)
lol...I must've missed that copper pipe comment, wtf?
did u click on the spoiler videos??When NY and Tailor made were on the bed the mic was still on and she said it felt like a big hard copper pipe against her lil black ass...
I'm sorry I asked so soon after finishing my lunch : (
Good afternoon everyone!
NY does look very pretty in the picture from the reunion, I guess Love does agree with her huh?
Hi PBS? How's ur Saturday?
y cant' i see the finale extras?
They took the videos down!!!!
She look very pretty. I don't know why everyone think New York is ugly. She just love her makeup on extremely heavy. I love the look. And yes I am addicted to the show. I'm crying now because it is almost over. What will I do for 2-3weeks until the next Vh1 show. Oh what will I do. I glad she finally found her man and i'm glad her man is TM. Until next time, bloggers, have a nice DAY!!! LOL
Pebbles....we have the reunion and its gonna be an hour an a half Q said...:)You can watch reruns..:) :)
Off the subject for a minute...isnt it ironic that New York's first date started with Tailor Made and Buddha and her last date ended with Tailor Made and Buddha?? :)
LOL! I said it may be an hour and a half. Or we may just get an hour. I don't know.
LOL!
Hey BabyGirl!
lmao!! fine Q~ burst my bubble....:(
what in the hell have i been missing?
look...i hated ny at first, but shes grown on me...like a tumor i cant get rid of...
:sigh:
so...i love new york
::winces::
and tailor made...
*faints due to the strain of confession.
Hi Q
hey shawn.
Hello everyone.
I was there at he reunion and when she walked out the first thing I thought was is she dressed for dancing witht the stars.LOL
Her hair didnt look so good it has looked better before. But at least she had the bra covered for once her bra matched and the straps were not hangin out. She did have some nice boots on too. the went all the way up her legs. thigh boots. very nice. looked exspensive. Tehy dress did sparkle nice in the studio lights.
ask new york still more of your questions answered Libby M. asks: I was wondering if maybe after this show was over, if New York was maybe interested in doing a makeover show? I would love to get a New York makeover. Teach me how to put on my makeup, how to dress and how to walk in those heels and still look sexy. Have you ever considered that idea?
Aww! That’s so sweet. But I don’t know if the majority of women are ready for a New York makeover, because once you get a New York makeover you’re just gonna have guy, after guy after guy following you, chasing you, wanting to figure out what you’re all about.
Jessica H. asks: Do you think that the man you chose will treat you right? Do you think he will love and care for you as you deserve?
I know for a fact that the man I chose will definitely treat me right. And he’s giving me the love that I deserve, the love that I could never dream of deserving. It’s above and beyond whatever I could imagine a relationship being like, and that is just really honest. He is just too amazing for me at times.
Sean K. asks: How ever do you stay so fly? How were you able to be with all these girls from Flavor of Love and live in the same house with them for 10 weeks? How were you able to stay focused on one thing when you had so many haters that got in the way?
That’s so sweet! I would say the reason I stay so fly and focused is tapping into the part of you that is very disciplined. You have to demand to be strong and focused. That’s the main thing. Basically setting your sight on whatever it is and just staying in no matter what. I don’t want to make it sound like I was superwoman. It was hard. But I gave it my all.
Kristi asks: I would like to know if you will be appearing in any future movie roles.
Well, I have a couple of scripts that I’m reading right now. One for a play, one for a movie. I did just do a cameo in First Sunday, which is an Ice Cube movie that comes out in January. I’m not playing myself. I’m playing a character named Peaches. That was kinda fun.
Nancy asks: Your eye makeup always looks so good. Can you please ask your wonderful makeup artist what kind of shadow do they use?
Eye shadow? Definitely Mac.
Kalyn asks: I remember you making the comment on the show where you said, “I know how to squeeze my ass into a size 6.” But how can other girls with nice bodies and have curves in all the right places? I’m not a skinny twig and I’m tired of having to look all over the place for clothes basically I’m trying to see why it’s so damn hard to find cute stuff that looks hot. You really work your wardrobe. Now how can I?
Oh, that’s a good one. First of all I didn’t say I know how to squeeze myself into a size 6, I said a size 2. I could just squeeze into a size 2 because basically it’s all about the cut. Make sure the clothes look flattering on you. Right now, I’m a little thicker and I can’t wear anything. I’m not really showing my mid-section right now, so I like the empire waste line the baby doll cut shirts and stuff like that. Right now I’m just rockin’ a lot of leg and a lot of cleavage. If you’re a heavier girl, that cut is going to look good on you too because it will just block in the hips, and the stomach.
Dre asks: I wanted to know If you’ve ever been in a fight before and how bad did you whip their butt?
I have been in a few cat fights and I’ve always won them. But I would rather get into verbal altercations, because I don’t like to rip my clothes. I don’t want nobody touching my hair, and I’m damn sure I don’t wanna bust my nails. So I usually try to steer away from physical fighting, but I have some girls that will whip some ass for me, and I love that.
Nicole asks: How do you build your self confidence? I am 12 going on 13 and I am a little self conscious. I am in the middle, not skinny enough and not like obese so not like everything fits so just give me some tips. You are so pretty and a great confident role model.
Aw, see that’s gonna make me cry. That is so sweet. I always tell myself, nobody could love me better than me. Nobody knows me better than myself and you know what? Whatever you’re blessed with, you better work it, you better rock it, because we only have one life. Instead of sitting there and wishing you could change this or wishing you could change that…well, I’m not really one to talk about this I did have some plastic surgery done. But it’s OK! I did it because I’m a confident woman and I wanted bigger breasts but uh, anyway, just love yourself and do you and just have fun with your life. That’s the most important key, just to have fun. Don’t let other people tear you down, because if they’re tearing you down it is just because they have some things that they would love to change about themselves.
Lisa asks: If you had a child with a man and he cheated on you while you were in the delivery room but he is doing everything to make it up to you and be there for you what would you tell him? Would you forgive him?
What? I can’t even give an answer to this, I’m in the bed, I’m having a child in the delivery room, my man cheats on me in the delivery room…would I forgive him for trying to make it up to me? Damn! S***. Well ,I hope I am never in that predicament. I would figure I would need him to help me with the child. I would like to believe that I would forgive him just for the child, and I would like to believe that crazy s*** would never happen to me, so…that’s crazy.
Nicole asks: I just wanted to say that you have such beautiful skin. What are some tips to maintain a beautiful complexion like yours? Keep looking good girl, kisses.
Aww, that’s so sweet. Definitely for the body, you want to exfoliate, and I don’t mean those girly, girly, girly salt scrubs. I mean one of those rough-ass salt scrubs. The really good kind with the sea salt in there. You want to use that not only on your elbows and your knees, but all over your body. Except, not your face and your chest because that skin is too delicate. For the face, you definitely want to exfoliate. Probably like twice a week is good, and then you wanna use your moisturizer. It’s all about moisturizing and keeping a clean face.
Katie asks: I wanna know how much your mom’s opinion matters to you. Does she ever get on your nerves?
My mom’s opinion definitely matters to me about the guy I picked, but ultimately I have to be happy and she gets that. I think that she is going to lend her support just with me saying that. And does she ever get on my nerves? Of course she does, that’s my mom. Whose mom doesn’t get on my nerves. She doesn’t get on my nerves all the times, but there’s times where I’m just like, “See you later, Mom.”
Bubblez asks: Did you ever worry that Tailor Made was just trying to buy your love instead of win your heart?
No woman is stupid enough to let a man buy her love, unless she is willing to be bought. And I’m too good to be bought, but if he wanted to keep acting like a fool and buying me all those presents, I wasn’t gonna turn him down. But I knew in the long run he wouldn’t be able to buy my heart or my affection. You can’t put a price on New York. Are you crazy?
Chingy asks: Since you’re having so much trouble getting it right with the men, why don’t you give some respectable women a shot?
Oh god, try giving love a shot with Tila Tequila? I love men and the women out there you know…I do get hit on by women a lot now, but I can’t cross the fence, I can’t straddle the fence. New York is strictly d***ly, and I want to say that in the most respectful way.
Eliot L. asks: How do you deal with sectioning off a personal section of your life while under the watchful eye of the public?
Basically because I’m looking for true love, I’m not looking for ratings, I’m not looking for just like a television moment, there’s nothing that is closed off. I put myself out there. I signed my contract, I know what it entails and basically there are going to be cameras on you 24 hours a day and if I’m fine with that and if I’m having a moment that I’d rather remain personal, I know that I signed this project and, hey, they can put this on blast if they want. But me finding love is so important that it’s all that matters.
ask new york more of your questions But before we get down to the questions, New York has an announcement she’d like to make: she’s quit smoking. She elaborates:
Basically, I was in my living room and I was playing with my dog. I was home by myself then I got these really bad chest pains. I thought I was having a heart attack so I started praying. So then I went and grabbed my cigarettes and I just crumbled them up and threw ‘em in the trash and I was like ok, Lord, this is it I am not smoking anymore. I haven’t picked them up since and chest pains went away too. I do not have the desire to smoke, in fact when I do smell cigarette smoke now, I am so disgusted.
And now for the readers’ questions:
Sharon E. asks: Give me your tips on how to stay strong even in the midst of a bad or failed relationship.
How to stay strong? Take your time to heal, and surround yourself with people you know who care about you. If you know something’s not going to work and you see all the signs, the worst thing you could do is to try and get back with that person. We might not want to let a relationship go, but sometimes it’ll be better in the long run if you do.
Jessica H. asks: Do you think the man you chose [as the I Love New York 2 winner] will treat you right? Love and care for you as you deserve?
I know for a fact that the man I chose will definitely treat me right. And he’s giving me the love that I deserve, the love that I could never dream of deserving. It’s it’s above and beyond whatever I could imagine a relationship being like, and that is just really honest. He is just too amazing for me at times.
Stacie W. asks: I’m a born again Christian and from my guess you know about the Bible. Do you see yourself changing your lifestyle to live and work for Jesus? Do you see yourself back in church to promote his second coming? I pray that you will be a role model for the kingdom of Jesus. Remain blessed.
That’s really sweet and, you know, that is a great question because I’m a Christian woman and I definitely see myself living for God. And I do live for God each and every day. I like to call myself his work in progress. I might not be perfect from day to day, but he understands that. He gets it and he loves me regardless.
Alex M. asks: I would like to know how you’re handling your success. One day you’re doing your own hair and suddenly you have hair dressers, make up artists, public relations staff, eating at fabulous restaurants and living in mansions. Girl, I am so proud of you. But how do you take it all in and still stay fabulous and seemingly focused?
You know what? That’s the easy part for me. Basically, it’s a matter for me of not forgetting where I come from, who I truly am. You have to look at these things as perks you know, because if one day they are all taken away from me, I’ll still know how to maintain my lifestyle and I’ll still know who I am. I just like to have all these benefits but then one day when it’s all over, I’m not going to be crying over it ’cause I’m just gonna look at it as a wonderful experience and just basically move on.
Kristy asks: Do you like video games? If so what do you play?
Oh, I do like video games. I’m really not a big computer person, but when I do have time to be on the computer there is this game called Cake Mania and I love it! I sit up there and play for hours.
Jasmine asks: Do you have any brothers or sisters or are you an only child?
I do have an older brother his name is Derek. He’s a couple years older than me, and we are so close. Let me just say, that is my best friend. My brother is my biggest supporter. He watches the show and he goes, “You did a great job at this and you know I’m so proud of you.” All that kind of stuff. And he helps me run my MySpace and stuff and he’ll talk to my fans and stuff for me. He is just so supportive.
Tamika W. asks: When it comes to men do you tend to go for the weak ones, and can’t stand the strong ones (after so long) because their aggression overshadows yours?
Wow, that’s a good, good question. I would say that I tend to go for the balance. I like the submissive man but at the right time, a submissive man that has a bark and a bite. So I like someone who is really submissive and strong and can just basically have both of those personalities. ‘Cause that’s how I am. Like, some times I am very vulnerable. But at the same time I am very strong. So I like the balance.
Joyceeeee asks: My question is about Wolf. Through all the hugs and kisses, I know if f***ed you up when he told you he had a big d*** cuz it f***ed me up! But girl, I gotta ask: was it huge? Somehow, I just know it was! The hands, baby. The hands!
Oh my goodness, well I didn’t get a chance to look at it personally, but in my experience when a man says he’s huge, it usually is huge. And looking at, the size of his hands and his height and his confidence, I know it was big.
Don’t fret if your question hasn’t yet been answered: there’s yet another round of Ask New York questions to be posted next week. Watch this space.
aks new york your questions answered Maria B. asks: Is your dad still with your mom, because I don’t see him on the show?
My mom and dad are still close, if that is what they mean by the question. They’re really still cool friends and they see each other regularly.
Amberly B. asks: Why isn’t Your Majesty around anymore? She left midway in Season 1, or I just don’t see her anymore.
I don’t have Your Majesty in the house anymore, because I don’t want none of those big-foot boys like hitting on my baby, stepping on her or letting her out of the house. There’s way too much action. I had her last season and I saw those guys coming in my room whenever they wanted, and I don’t want none of them stepping on my baby, so I couldn’t bring her on. I didn’t want to take the risk.
Resha asks: I want to know how could you keep anyone under your roof that spit in someone’s face, after you made such a big deal out of Pumpkin spitting in your face?
That is a great question. I really had strong feelings for Tailor Made and I just didn’t want to cut him. I kept him point blank because I cared for him. Everything happens for a reason, and I’m so glad I wasn’t there to witness the spit. If I witnessed it, I know I woulda wound up cutting him. But since I was upstairs you know, hearing about something is not as bad as seeing it. It wasn’t that big a deal to me after that.
Lisa asks: Do you watch the men’s comments on the show before you make your final decision?
I wish I could, but no. I’m not allowed to do anything like that because you don’t want these guys to know you’re watching their every move. I think if they did know that and I was watching their every move, they would give me something that they think I want to hear. You know what I mean? So they would basically be playing a role if I was watching the tapes back.
Josh asks: How do you handle sending a boy home that you like?
It definitely gets emotional for me to send somebody home that I like. But if I do it early enough, where we could understand it, and not be bitter, I can do it and not cry or have second thoughts. That’s the key. Eliminations can be really tough. But they’re done in a way that in the long run can be beneficial to me and the guy.
goldenbrooks asks: Why are you so hard on the men in the house?
I’m basically hard on those guys in the house because I don’t want to put on a front. I don’t wanna act like I’m sweet as humble pie 24 hours a day, when I know damn well that isn’t the case with me, you know? So I’d rather them see it now and be scared than to only see it later if I pick them. I have to keep it real. That’s why I’m so hard on them.
Adrienne B. asks: When the show started, had your heart healed completely from your first two heartbreaks?
Oh, absolutely. Had it not been a hundred percent healed, there would be no way that I could do a show. I wouldn’t have been able to give myself 100 percent to anybody. I think that is all very important to be a hundred percent fully healed before you start anything.
John K. asks: There is a decent amount of pop culture references on I Love New York 2, so what are your top ten favorite movies?
I love a lot of horror. I love Friday the 13th. One of my favorite movies is Do the Right Thing. I love Malcom X. I watched Pretty Woman last night. I loved that movie. That’s a classic. I loved Kill Bill, that was a really good one.
Kristy asks: What do you watch on TV?
I’m such an old soul. I love the Golden Girls. I love the Lifetime movie network. I always love TV Land. I watch Good Times, I watch All in the Family, and stuff like that. The Jeffersons. So I like the older shows.
Cathy B. asks: Have any of the females from the Flavor of Love episodes talked to you since the show? Have there been any positive interactions with any? Or negative? Have you talked to Flav since your show took off?
I have not spoken to Flav since my show took off, and that is not by my doing because I would love to talk to Flav. In fact I reached out and I called him to see how he was doing. He hung up on me. So I don’t know what that’s all about. As far as me being close with any of the girls positive or negative interaction, I don’t really talk to anybody except Red Oyster, who’s is really cool. I saw her over the weekend in Hollywood.
The Wonderous Me asks: You’re always changing up your look. I was wondering what is your preferred hair style and what is your favorite color eye shadow?
I have to say I do like dramatic eye make up, and I’m getting a little bit better cause usually it was black, black, black. But I would have to say that black is definitely my favorite eye shadow. It’s just something about the depth and intensity of that color on the eye. My favorite hair is just good, good, good, good, hair where you don’t have all those flyaways. It could be curly or straight as long as the quality looks good.
Dana asks: Your makeup always looks so nice, like you just walked off the runway. I was wondering how long it takes you to apply it each day?
For the show, I have my own makeup artist, but in the real world I do my own makeup and it only takes me about 45 minutes. Forty-five minutes if I know I’m going somewhere…well every damn time I go anywhere, I’m taking pictures. But yeah, it usually takes about 45 minutes to get a full, full heavy face on.
Charmane asks: How long is your real hair?
Oh my goodness. Girl, this is my favorite question. My real hair is so beautiful and well kept and it’s past my shoulder blades now because I am taking such great care of it. I don’t perm it, I don’t relax it, I don’t color it, I don’t put any heat toward it. All I do is use the Organic Root Stimulator line. Their shampoos and conditioners and their carrot juices and their olive oil sprays and stuff. And my hair is just beautiful, bouncy, fabulous and shiny and I just keep protecting it by putting the wigs and weaves over it. Do you see the pride I have in talking about my hair?
Aurelis asks: What did you want to be when you were growing up?
When I was a little kid, I think we all had those choices of being a doctor, lawyer, firefighter and a police man because that is all we know. But, as I got older, I definitely knew I wanted to be an actress or a star of some sort. I think that people that are special like me and are on television and in the industry…those things don’t just come about. It’s kinda like you’re born with it inside of you. You like always know that “I wanna be a star, I wanna be famous, I want people to know who I am.” I’ve always had those feelings.
Kristy asks: When you were in school, what were your favorite subjects?
I was always really, really great at English and Science. Those were my favorite subjects.
Stop Hating asks: How do you feel about all the haters that watch your show and criticize you then turn around and watch your damn marathon any way? Do you shake them haters off or does it get to you?
I have so many haters from all walks of life, you know? I think that my haters are the biggest hypocrites because they are undercover New York lovers. They watch the show just as much as my fans. They watch it every time it comes on and they could tell you the littlest details that the average person would miss. So, obviously the haters definitely have their eyes on New York. I love my haters because obviously they love me. They love to hate me.
Stephanie asks: If you could sponsor any charity what would it be and why?
I did just go to a charity event, out in Hollywood, and I would do anything for the pets. My mom and I, we’re such lovers of pets. We’re not vegetarians or that extreme, but just the welfare of cats and dogs and things like that. And I did make a sizable donation. I just love pets so.
Kristy asks: Are you the person you portray on TV or is that a character? Do you think most reality TV stars are who they seem to be on TV or are they playing themselves as a character?
On behalf of myself and other reality TV personalities, being in a situation where you cannot watch TV or have no communication with your loved ones in the outside world and you’re basically stuck and your cut off from any type of current events, that is enough to frustrate you and bring you to a boiling point pretty quickly. But for myself, I’ve always been a little too dramatic. This is how I was born. I was just the girl that would just be doing too much emotionally. My mom used to have to like calm me down you know? ‘Cause she used to ground me. Just to hear her saying, “You’re grounded,” made me break out in hives. I was just so emotional and so over the top all of the time.
Sherell H. asks: After this is done, what business venture are you leaning towards? Whatever you do, I wish you much success. You go girl!
That’s sweet. I’ll say that I’m definitely going to pursue acting, but I’m not going to pursue that until my relationship is locked down solid. Because I want the fans to understand that the reason they see me every week is because I was looking for love. Well now that I found that love, I really have to nurture it and take care of it you know so once it’s solid, I’m going to pursue acting.
Casa G. asks: When the show is over, would you ever consider doing Playboy?
Well, Playboy would definitely have to talk to see if I can do something. It would have to be tastefully done. We would have to talk Benjamins too. We’d have to talk money and the concept of the whole shoot.
Val asks: Can I be your best friend?
You already are my best friend.
Thigh boots and a sparkly dress? Very classy. NY never dissapoints.
I must say though, I have hated the way NY looked from the inception of FOL1 and all its subsequent spin offs.I have enjoyed making fun of her clown titties, her 80's blue eye shadow, and her fully visible track. This season however, has been her best looking. That's still not saying a whole lot though. I still think she is one of the ugliest women on earth.
You can put a dress on a pig, but at the end of the day it'll still roll in shit.
i wanna know if him and ny will last
wow nice questions.
she quit smoking and she doesnt like to show her stomach off. mmmm???
Interesting
