Tonight is Gabrielle's penultimate show before she "quits"
Don't ask me why, or if it's one of those Jay-Z type retirements. I am just reporting what she said...
Maybe you guys can convince her to stay, but those who were there last evening, probably know better.

Anyways, tonight's show is about the Charm School Reunion (filming today, I remind you) and the fallout from the BET Awards Show. Please make an effort to tune-in.

On Friday (Elle's final show) a celebrity guest's ex-friend will be on the line to tell all she knows. She's bitter, angry and upset; so you know it'll be good.

Yesterday, on the spur of the moment, Gabrielle hosted Karaoke Night Pt2 on her radio show, so you might have missed it.
The show wasn't the best she's ever done because I was on for much too long (a bad sign) but there were some great moments so it's worth a listen. 'Foofie' called in twice, and sang songs from Beyonce and Mary J Blige; 'Light Stone' sang three songs I think and there were a few others as well.

Near the middle of the show (minute 21) 'Sweet' called to discuss the absence of major news coverage of African-American missing persons and particularly Trinidad-born Stepha Henry, who's been missing since May 29th. The Brooklyn girl and honors graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice visited a nightclub in South Florida and was last seen entering a black sedan. (doesn't sound good does it?)

Besides that, five of us chatted way past the hour that's broadcast LIVE and one of the topics was "is Mr New York more hated than New York herself?"

It's been a week since Elle departed to her retreat with the threat that she may never again host, The Elle Word, but luckily for us she chose to carry on.

This show had everything including a bit of banter between Elle and me. But after 30 minutes, Somethin was not heard from.
Finally we got on to her as she enjoyed herself at a party and our featured guest promised to contact us in 5 minutes time in quieter surroundings. That turned out to be the bathroom (insert joke here) and after 36 mins of LIVE broadcast, Somethin took over and probably ensured this program will be the most talked about Elle Word Show, ever.
At least until we persuade Larissa to return.

If you missed yesterday's radio show you missed a banger. Hottie never showed, and we apologize for that (but we don't want to make these apologies a habit)
Nevertheless the show went on and Gabrielle, Tasha and Mina were excellent hosts.

If you haven't yet heard the podcast; here's some of what you missed:

1. A lady with her own radio-show called in and almost hijacked the show (she's cool though)
2. A finalist for I Love New York 2's online casting called in to query his removal
3. Mr. New York interrogating said finalist
4. Hottie's publicist calling in to apologize at the worst possible moment

But what you'll regret for the rest of your life (if you don't listen to the podcast today) is your missing Pt1 of the impersonations contest.
Elle had a brilliant idea to offer co-hosting duties to the person who can best impersonate a character from Flavor of Love, I Love New York or Charm School, and the callers were brilliant.

You have to hear Mr. New York impersonate Mr. Boston. Steve (or was it Jeff) did an impression of Mikki Taylor and Larissa whilst Flawless Rose was excellent as Buckwild and Goldie.
Our surprise caller was very good as Saaphyri. And Mina did Romance.

And we cannot forget Speak impersonating today's guest (show starts at 6:30pm EST), Lamonty 'Pootie' Council.

Both ladies are among the most controversial contestants to have ever been cast in the 'Flavor of Love' series and it's spinoffs. Brooke , for example; had a threesome-shower with Flavor Flav and Hoopz; but her notoriety comes from an elimination ceremony where she spat on Reality TV Queen, Tiffany 'New York' Pollard.

Saaphyri's infamy stems from having the shortest stint of any cast-member when she was eliminated for attacking another contestant.
