Anticipation mounts (for me anyways) as Larissa 'Bootz' Aurora's baby girl is due in just 6 days time.

Larissa 'Bootz' Aurora (Flavor of Love 2, Charm School) was featured in two magazines recently -XXL and Smooth Girl. The photographs are semi-nudes mainly so I won't reveal them here but you can view them all at Cutie Central.

He got it from Cutie Central, which is like the greatest site ever, for pictures of beautiful black women. (you can view the rest of the picture by clicking on the small of her back) Bootz can be seen in the October 2007 issue of Smooth Magazine.

Where has the FOL girls been lately? Two Flavor of Love 2 and Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School contestants Bootz/Larissa and Buckeey/Shay were recently featured in Fabolous' new video, 'Baby Don't Go'. Watch the now "cool" girls strut their stuff on the video, then check out some photos of Larissa and Shay from the set of the video. (YES! Larissa got her black hair back!) I, personally, think it's a nice video. But then again, it's what YOU think...so watch the video for yourself:

I heard her say as much in yet another fantastic DC Livers interview on Black Press Radio.

I am tired of trumpeting DC Livers skill at extracting emotion from her interviewees so I won't do that again. But just know, if you can spare 30+ minutes of your time you'll hear Shay 'Buckeey' Johnson's thoughts on New York ("she's fake") Chance, Real and Tango.

She addresses the issue of the assumed friendship with Larissa (Bootz) and reveals the person she considers a friend from her time on Flavor of Love 2 and Charm School.
But it's much more than that because she opens the door to her life and explains why she is who she is...
Lots of emotion in this interview and on this thirty minutes alone I have to say she is one of my favorite girls from the Flavor of Love series and spin-offs.

I've been reacquainting myself with the Charm School contestants. I won't lie; I never bothered with them after the show ended (save for Buckwild, Nibblz, Nibblz, Deelishis and Somethin)
That's just the way it goes, I guess. I used them for internet traffic and moved on to another show.
It'd serve me right if they ignore me when I harass them for Charm School stories. Hopefully they're bigger than that...

Anyways, I was hanging out at Bootz' My Space and I saw her calendar with the name Larissa Aurora. I always thought her surname was Hodge?

1) Busta Banned from Filming in NYC




Busta Rhymes was prevented by New York City from acting in a film that just began production in the city after the NYPD raised security concerns about the flinty rapper. As the AP reports, Rhymes is acting in "Order of Redemption," but can't shoot scenes in midtown Manhattan because the cops "raised public safety concerns." Rhymes refused to cooperate with a probe into a shooting last year, and subsequently has had several run-ins with the law, allegedly driving with a suspended license and beating his former driver. The film's director called the action "tremendously unfair" to Busta, and his lawyer did not comment

Shawn, brought to our attention, the most recent blog of Adrianne Curry (The Surreal Life, My Fair Brady) describing a party she attended. Among the guests were the stars of I Love New York and Flavor of Love 2.

Here is an extract from the article..

Last night the production company that produces our show had a company party. Everyone that has worked on our show was there. There were also people from the shows they had worked on besides ours. Andrea from the fame games was there. The Flavor of Love girls were too. Buckeey, Saaphyri, Bootz, Buckwild, and Somethin...as far as I remember. Chance, Real, and Mr. Boston were also running around (from I love NY). It was f*cking surreal. The night was a haze of cigars, cigarettes, skunk, and booze. We almost didn't go, but I am happy we did. It's nice to get to know all the peeps that film our every move. It's also nice to hang out with the ones we already have a friendship with. I got to hang out with the 3 VH1 heads that I had pitched 'My Fair Brady' to on the 'Surreal Life'.

It was sooo weird running into all these people. On tv, they are almost like cartoon characters. (Is that how I am to you??) The Flavor of Love girls reminded me of a bunch of people I went to high-school with. Bootz I believe, passed out. I don't think it was because she was drunk..it was hot as hell in that bar. It was truly a mad house! I was happy that all the girls were so nice. I couldn't stop laughing everytime I saw Mr. Boston. I didn't properly introduce myself because I didn't want to shake his hand. All that dude did on tv was pick his nose. ; )

Anyway, I had a really good time hanging out with my producers...and doing shots with Buckwild and Andrea. I don't judge anyone from what I see on tv. They were all very sweet and lovely.

For some reason that begins with 'e', ends with 'y', and sounds like its middle two letters; I almost never visit the Celebreality blog.
It usually takes an email or a My Space message with a link included, to tempt me to visit the real Flavor of Love website.

Even then, I almost always pass it on to Groovy because she practically lives there. Sort of like your wife spending all day at Denzel Washington's house and returning at night to help you wash the dishes.

Two days however, a friend of mine Aisha Raison (a spoken word poet you should investigate) sent me a link to a "Behind the scene account of the Flavor of Love 2 Reunion" and it's real fucked up that I had not seen it before.

There are pictures of Deelishis' daughter and some of the girls from Season 2 including our Queen (New York) and great photos of the cast as they prepare for and exit the Reunion Special taping.

I liked the pictures of the girls smoking for some reason. Apparently women poisoning themselves with Emphysema and Cancer is still sexy to me.

But what I particularly loved was seeing the before and after pictures of Bootz.

I'd think you'd agree that besides "Somethin's" dump on the mansion's floor, the mansion's staircase and the mansion's bathroom, "Flavor of Love 2" was no stinker.
Big Black African said it well in his preview, Flava Flav seem to have tempered his overactive personality but that's probably because the former Public Enemey hype-man is now a polished reality television star. Flava Flav is a veteran now so he knows how to pace himself and what characters to use to develop the story he wants told.
But, more likely he was overwhelmed by the sheer sexuality and beauty of the "Flavor of love 2" girls.

There is some debate as to the physical appearance of the girls compared to "Flavor of Love 1's" cast but there is no debate as far as I am concerned, these women are simply sexier.

My immediate favorites are "Nibblz" and "Spunkeey." I don't know if y'all remember "Spunkeey" when I first "found" her; her name is Maria Dunbar and back then when I looked at her pictures I never expected she'd be such a drama queen, although looking back I should have known after our first conversation. The girl isn't short on confidence let me tell you.
Spunkeey is my first choice and those who disagree need to remember that "New York" was nobody's favourite last time and now y'all are begging for her return. Which reminds me, what's up Sanyo?


And then there's "Nibblz". I thought her sexiness overfloweth on the show and if ever there was a time I wished I was Flava Flav it was on the occasion he had alone time with Bettie "Nibblz" Brown.
She has other things on her mind though, apparently her name was littered all over the Wendy Williams Show today by the lover of an ex-boyfriend or whatever.
She (Nibblz) denied all the assertions and claims during the Wendy Williams Show and writes on her (Nibblz) My Space that...

It may be true that in a small section of Brooklyn, I am legendary but I assure you it is because I've only allowed for speculation. My inner circle -- my friends, my lovers -- is small and anyone attempting to slander my name will find out quickly that I like it sullied. I am amused, to say the least.
