new-york-blender-magazineWe apologize for the technical difficulties in our earlier attempt but we believe we've sorted out the majority of the audio problems.
Understand we are experimenting here so we are gonna f*ck up occasionally but it's our attempt to keep things fresh; and different.

You should know our podcasts are called Podssips™ and are edited and compiled by Shawn. She's also the host of the Podssip™ and in this our third edition she invites Dana, Mr. New York and Lareigna to offer their opinions on I love New York Episode 9.
Look out for Dana's Trinidadian accent, Mr New York's audio snippets from the episode and Lareigna's identifiably New York accent.
As I've said before, Lareigna's accent reminds me of the first witness on a Law & Order Episode.

Anyways, it's time for Podssip™3, you have two choices
1) right click and save to your hard-drive to play later (I think that's the better option)

2) click and listen on the web-page (you may need a QuickTime™ plugin)

denyce-lawtonWe almost lived an entire day without posting an article which is unlike us; but we have excuses (signed by our parents)

The reality is we have been busy. Quanda and Shawn are mothers, Ivory is a sexy motha and I've been busy with someone's mother, so we had not the time to write anything worthwhile.
But, it won't be long before you (the reader) are complaining about too many articles because we are embarking on a "sea change".

'The Blogspot' will soon cover more reality television beginning with Charm School, Celebrity Fit Club; and any other show on VH1 that we fancy.
The Podcast which we've privately named Podssip™ (all credit to Quanda) is still in development stage, but you will agree that Shawn has done a marvelous job and her voice is perfectly suited.
Soon, you'll see remarkable improvement in the Podssip™ with member contributions no longer pieced together but done interview-style. And speaking of interviews; Quanda's interviews will have audio in the near future so look for that.
But the biggie is real-time audio chat with the readers. If it works out and you readers are willing to participate, we are considering a Blogspot Live™. A sort of audio chat-room.

Moving away from what's to be; we have already experimented with a gossip column and that will be expanded. Shawn and Ivory will see to that.
We aren't trying to be Perez Hilton or Concrete Loop. The idea is simply to stimulate more conversation in the comment box because most of the articles will have outgoing links to the very blogs previously mentioned.

There's more in the pipeline but I have titled this article Volume 1 so there must be a Volume 2, no?
Before I bid you adieu...three things:

1) you must be wondering why the picture in the top left-hand corner? Well that person is the spiting-image of Quanda so if you are a male reader who's embarrassed to chat in the comments box; I just gave you a reason to get over yourself.

2) if you are a regular reader and wondered why I never approached you to write or contribute...then you need to email me. For some reason I thought Groovy and I were Sonny & Cher, grey hair & dye, peanut-butter & jelly or flat-chests and wonderbras.
Now I know better.
You do not have to write regularly as Quanda and I; but if you have something you want seen and/or read; just email me or Quanda and we'll sort you out.

And that's a perfect segue to...

3) Rehman Bhatti (a regular), an aspiring comic and actor. He has been uploading his work on YouTube and here's one of his selections for you to enjoy. I enjoyed it; and not because he mentions me in the end (although it helped, lol)

That's that then...(waves at Dana)

Let's face it; we love Quanda's amazing face interviews and perhaps, my recaps; but everything becomes passe with time. We need to offer more.
Unfortunately, I can't have sex with all of you, so podcasts and video-casts seem the best alternative.

With that in mind, we partnered with the famous and infamous YouTube editorialist, Princess Erica, to provide a 'videocourse' of I love New York; and here's the first of what I hope to be a weekly or bi-weekly production.

I can't keep harassing her to do videos however, so Quanda or anyone else who wants to try will eventually take over. I stress on that...if you believe you can do it, or do it better; or just as good, send an email to either of us and we'll put it up.

Don't be afraid as I am it's no big deal to have your voice or/and face on the Internet.
So, without further ado, here's the premiere of the I love New York podcast, vidcast, or whatever.

Oh, one more thing...this was done before last night's episode but I fucked up forgot to upload it yesterday morning. But just watch it why don't you; there's such a dearth of good programming at 3pm on a Tuesday afternoon.

Subscribe to Princess Erica please; she has scores of video on every subject matter imaginable; and unimaginable too.
Laterz.

"Everyone needs a little Photoshop® okayyyy"

It was so funny to hear Bettie Nibblz Brown say that, on her video-chat. And now you can too...

I don't know how I missed out on this. You'd think Nibblz would have emailed me or something? (I thought we were cool BB?")
There are many more provocative videos for you to indulge but you need a YouTube account to see them because they are raunchy.
So; ill just link you to her profile

As an aside, we are coming with an audio-cast hosted by Shawn. I've already heard her first attempt and it's terrific. Look for that in the future. We'll have it available for downloads on Fridays or whenever.
